Disney Channel Games 2008???

Right now I am very confused. What would you say I do now at this point.

I want to see the Jonas brothers. Is it free to get in to the games? People are saying you need special tickets to get into the concert.. How can I get them? I know they are sold out or whatever you would call it but is there another way I could get them?

I know the Jonas Brothers are a part of the concert...are they participating in the games too?

Also, does anyone know what times it will be at during the day, both the games and the concert? Like would it be after 2 in the after noon or in the morning, or whatever...

Right now, there is no information about WHO is in the games, we are just throwing out random guesses at this point. I, personally, would LOVE it if the Jonas Brothers were in the games, they said last year they wanted to be in them, and they are becoming a big part of Disney, but I know they are going to be on tour with Avril sometime in April, not sure if they'll be touring during the games or not.

Last year the games started at like 10 (well the gates opened, at least) and ran until sometime after 5 (They were just about to film the egg toss when I left around 5ish) so you have pretty much the whole day to go see, as long as they don't do anything drastic and only film from like 6 AM to 10:20AM, which I doubt.

I don't know of any other way to get tickets to the concert besides the emails which are already sold out, sorry. But other people who can't pick them up or have issues with timing may be giving them away on other sites somewhere, so I would keep looking, and don't give up hope!

Oh sorry, I forgot to put this:
The concert starts at 7 PM saturday and is said to run until about 11 PM or later.

Not sure when the gates will open for the concert though.

Yes for the concert you do have to have a ticket for the field and for the seats.

do you know which day the taping is starting? i thought it was going to be the 28th at first but then disneychannelgames.com put up the 29th and now they took the dates down and dcgames2008.com says the 28th again. i am really confused?? if anyone has a good guess please let me know =]

Thanks for the info about what times you are attending the concert. I am still planning on going to DTD and then a late lunch around 2:00. We just saw Miley and J.Brs in December so I am not going to stress about getting to the stadium before 5:00. I tend to OCD about this stuff and I am trying really hard to relax and just go with the flow!

on mileytv April 1st- Miley comfirmed that she would be at DCgames.

might be an April fools thing But I don't Know. Miley's movie that's being taped in Tenn. has been pushed off until May 6th.



Selena Gomez, star of Wizards of Waverly Place, announced on her MySpace page that she will be attending the 2008 Disney Channel Games

Jordan Pruitt, radio disney

Heard Mitchel Musso might make an apperance, he's on tour with raven in the carolinas on May 3rd so it's possible. If flying in.
Also himand raven have a concert in Fla. during the games so they couldtape something early.

Thanks for the info. My daughter is DYING to see MILEY. I thought that she was going to be taping. I heard that Suite Life, HSM, and Hanna Montana crews were taping. I hope that they are there. If my daughter could see Miley it would make the whole trip worth while.

I am holding out a little hope that maybe something is being worked ouy to fly her and Billy Ray from the filming location in Tennessee down for the Concert on May3 and then right back to Tennessee and that they will be part of the "other surprise DCG performers".BUT,for all I know,she is on the list of Stars participating.There is really no way to know until the list is released.I am also concerned about the participation of the HSM stars because of the filming of HSM3.Last year all of them were there except for Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgins.I HOPE THE POST ABOVE HERE IS TRUE!

We are going to the concert - two on the field two in the stands. I'm super curious if the seats in the stands will be assigned seating or if I need to prep myself for showing up HOURS in advance for good seats with my little one.

The stadium seats will be assigned seats just like if you were going to a ballgame there.

For the stadium, yes, it's assigned. But the field is like general admission standing room, so I am assuming that's first come first serve

My daughter & her friend are going to use the two field seats and they are planning on arriving by 1:00 figuring gates will open at 5:00. If it is first come first serve for stadium seats as well, then my little & I will probably be there at the same time. She's bitter about not being able to use the field ticket, but I don't want her trampled in a herd of Jonas frenzy! Sarah you are giving out the great stuff on how it worked last year. My next round of questions was about how much attention the camera crew gave to the fans hanging out. We're already plotting the posters and just bought fresh sharpies! The stadium seating will be reserved seating-can you imagine 9,000 JB fans stampeding for seats? One of the "big differences" Disney is emphasizing that make this year's DCG different from last year's DCG is that they are not "actively recruiting an audience".Last year everyone was encouraged to sit in one section of the stadium wearing team colors and holding signs,etc.and periodically that section would be asked to cheer for the cameras.It SOUNDS like that MAY not be a part of the DCG this year.They may only film the extras they already have obtained who will be out on the field cheering at the different games.Again,we REALLY won't know how everything is going to be run until we get there.I JUST RE-READ YOUR POST-MY RESPONSE ABOUT THE TAPINGS WAS FOR THE DAILY TAPINGS-NOT THE CONCERT-IT SOUNDS LIKE FILMING OF the DCG CONCERT SHOULD BE THE SAME AS LAST YEAR SO DEFINITELy BRING SIGNS FOR THE CONCERT-SORRY FOR MIS-READING YOUR POST!

the taping of the Hannah Montana:the Movie. has been pushed off until May 6th, so there's a great possiblity.

Filming will begin in early May with the movie scheduled for release May 1, 2009, according to spokeswoman Heidi Trotta
