If I pay $75 to $100 per person, I'd want more than just autographs and a picture with the star of my choice. I'd rather go ride rides for 12 hours for that amount of money. I get the charity aspect, but financially, I'm not in a position right now to donate that much to a charity. I'd give to my kids' schools first. $25 per person would be more do-able for me, but I don't know that I'd pay it. I think I just enjoyed the "thrill of the hunt" at WWoS. LOL If it's just handed to you, I don't know if it would be as much fun - at least for me. I remember back in the day of Beanie Babies - my husband (yes my husband!) was a BB collector. One of my neighbors had a connection at Hallmark and could often get the most coveted Beanies easily. It was always much more exciting to get a good find than to use the connections who got you the Beanie without the "hunt".
You totally do not get what I am talking about here... completely apart from the actual tapings and games, a FanFest... where people would make a donation to the charities involved in the games in some way to gain admittance... say there are 4 teams, 5 members per team.. you are talking about getting 20 autographs and pictures with those celebs... it would probably take a considerable amount of time to work that many people through there but it could be done in typical Disney organization... what I'm asking is what amount people are willing to pay for this experience... it has nothing to do with hanging out at WWOS for tapings etc...
and BTW what you described is exactly how it was last year and why it was SO much more organized...
