Disney Channel Games 2008???

Yes, there are 8 pages of photos in it.

My 9 year old is upset that my 15 year old kissed the photo of Joe Jonas on the cover. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
That is SO funny!:) Are there some good photos of DCG 2008 Friendliest Star Alyson Stoner?I still am amazed at what all that young lady did for the fans at DCG 2008.:)

I went to that! I was like 3 or 4 people back. Most of the stars stoped to give autographs and take pictures. I think Dylan and Cole and the Cheetah Girls were the only ones that didn't stop. I have a video of the Jonas Brothers walking to the red carpet on youtube. My post count is to low to post the link but if you go to youtube and search for megamoneybear it should come up. I also have a video of the DC Games parade.
Thanks for the response!:) I went last year when the All-Star Party was at The American Adventure and they just waved and said Hello as they walked by.If I had known there were going to be autograph and photo opportunities at World Showplace,I would seriously have considered being a LATE arrival at Mickey's Pirate and Princess Party!:) Do you remember what time it was when they walked into World ShowPlace? Thanks.:)

Just a note, the jonas brothers are performing SOS on the finale of american idol....and think we saw them do it LIVE :)

yay! i am very excited to see the jonas brothers on american idol!
i have been writing to the producers!
:)

if someone could please post PICTURES and AUTOGRAPHS, i would be so happy!
i won't name them my own!
thanks

Your welcome! They started to walk in at 7pm.

I wondered of we should have gone to epcot instead of the party too. Rats.

Oh well we had a great time at the party. Even my mom dressed up in my pirate outfit. Ds will have great memories of going with mamaw. Even though the dance parties get alittle wild for him, he is so taken by the characters. The dance parties were less crowded when we went this year too, so he had a great time getting his groove on with Sebastian. His mama even danced with Stitch!

There's one of Alyson blowing up a balloon - most of her face is obstructed by the balloon. There's another where there's a partial side-view of her face.. There's a couple of Meaghan Martin who apparently was *at* the DC Games but didn't play in them.

Did anybody get autographs from the JoBros? I was going to buy my DD7 an autographed picture but wanted to see if anyone could tell me if the autographs look real before I buy it. It's only a couple bucks, but I'd like to know if it's authentic or fake.

Can anyone help? Feel free to email me at dawniekay at yahoo

Thanks.

idk if this helps, but their autographs pretty much always look like this, unless their in a rush.

My dd16 and dd9(almost) have some stuff autographed by them at m&g's. I would only be able to say if the autographs you have are good copies. And the signatures from last year are a little more legible than this year. I am supposing that is because they are so much more popular and have to sign more items in less time than last year, especially because at the last m&g they were told because of the number of fans that they were not allowed to sign anything.:sad1:

That's why the DC Games meant so much to my dd's. They got autographs from the people that were so important to them...all the Disney stars that they wanted!:yay: Not just JB.

Am formulating my plan for the fanfest (to propose to Disney) (and that's a BIG IF they even look at it)... if everyone could weigh in ... what would you be willing to pay (remember this amount would be going to the charity of the team of your choice OR just a general fund to be split between the teams) to get in to say WWOS, walk from table to table or booth to booth to get one item autographed and a pic with that celeb? Not too much time and nothing indepth, quick meet and greet with pic and auto...

I think it would depend on how many of the stars that were there. And if "characters" like Woody and Mickey, etc. were there for the younger kids.

But seriously, I would pay premium prices for the stars of shows and the JB. People pretty much paid like $75 for tickets to JB concerts, unless you had already paid for the original tickets and then you bought the premium sound check front floor tickets for $145 because you did not get floor after you paid for the fan club at $50 some odd dollars. Believe me, what you charge for fan fest would not be enough to ensure that you would get a ticket if the JoBros are a part of it.

But I guess I would say that I would be willing to pay between $75 and $100 per person ( in my group, not per Disney star) if JB, Miley, Sprouse twins, Selena, David Henrie, Jason Earles, Cody Linley, Brian Stepanek, Demi, Alyson Stoner, Jennifer Stone, Chelsea Staub, Brenda Song, Mitchel Musso, etc. etc, were there to sign. More, if they actually took some time to talk to my kids for a couple of minutes. But my only question is, "For the price, how many stars are my kids going to get to talk to?" Because that is the bottom line. They are commodities for Disney and I am a consumer. What am I going to get for my $ ?

I would be willing to pay whatever Disney told me to pay - absolute top dollar - as long as I was assured my place in line, photos and autographs. And as long as it was organized enough so we're not standing in the full sun for hour upon hour. It can be a nice "event" for the fans. And as long as 100% of the proceeds go to the selected charities.

I agree completely with MMLong. Inside - for stars and fans - and guarantee that 100% goes to the charity I would pay pretty much whatever Disney wanted to ask. And if you put together an e-mail/letter I would love to know the gist and where you sent it so I could do the same. Mount a campaign for 2009 Games!
thanks!

I think one of the best parts of the DC Games is the FREE aspect. It was so much fun to go there every day, for FREE and get to meet all those Disney stars.

Some of the other posters said they would be willing to pay $75 to $100 per person. There's no way I could participate at that price. I could go into a theme park for a whole day for $75. $100 is almost half a seasonal pass which gets me almost 10 months of park admission. I did pay $100/ticket for Jonas tickets for this summer, but I'm getting 2-3 hours of entertainment for that - not 5 minutes of face time.

Personally, what I'd like to see Disney do with the DC Games is make it more of a TV taping. Offer tickets in advance, for FREE, with the understanding that you have to play by certain rules. If you don't, you get ejected. Period. I'm sure if you go to a taping of Oprah or Ellen, you can't run around the studio - you have to sit in your seat, and not take pictures and you can't scream when they're filming. The DC Games should be run more like that. Then, at the end of filming, or during breaks, let the stars go out and give autographs.

You totally do not get what I am talking about here... completely apart from the actual tapings and games, a FanFest... where people would make a donation to the charities involved in the games in some way to gain admittance... say there are 4 teams, 5 members per team.. you are talking about getting 20 autographs and pictures with those celebs... it would probably take a considerable amount of time to work that many people through there but it could be done in typical Disney organization... what I'm asking is what amount people are willing to pay for this experience... it has nothing to do with hanging out at WWOS for tapings etc...

and BTW what you described is exactly how it was last year and why it was SO much more organized...

laka... look back through the messages from the past week or so... I posted some that I did NOT take but they are really good of Demi, Jo Bros and Miley at the concert...

Just FYI for the inquiring minds... I talked to Tig today... she JUST got home and is busy as can be expected... they stayed a lot longer and had a blast and now are trying to play catch up but she'll be around at some point...
