We're going to be heading to Disney for my wife and little one's birthday in 3 weeks. Staying at Pop. Does Disney do anything special or can we coordinate anything where they fill the room with a care package and goodies?

I had various goodies delivered to Disney from different companies over last Christmas. There was only one basket and I couldn't fit all the other items ordered into it yet the man and I enjoyed it nevertheless.

But it wouldn’t be delivered until After you checkin the room.

Check-in is so loosely defined. I definitely had a gift waiting for me in the room on my last trip. I did online check in, but because disney IT is what it is, for some reason an old land line was listed as the phone number so I still had to finish checking in at the desk when I got there.

One time I ordered flowers and candy for my DH for our anniversary, and it was not delivered to the room as I thought it would be, but waiting for him at the check in desk. Not quite as romantic as I wanted it to be, but he was happy anyway.

I also had gifts waiting in the room on our BWI stay last June. We checked in at the resort as I didn't do online check in and while I was fully expecting the gifts to be delivered sometime after our arrival, they were surprisingly already there when we entered our room.

Lucky. They have refused to bring any of the gifts I've order until I've arrived (since as you say, Check in is loosely defined)
They have always told me they can not, will not, put the items in the room prior to my stepping feet in the room first.
Then, and only then, will they bring the delivery.
This is from disneyfloral
Twice. Most recent was March last year

Mine was a surprise from a friend. I was wondering why she was so curious on my reservation dates and where we were staying...

When my wife and I entered our room at BLT, this past June, our Anniversary Basket had already been delivered. We had previously checked in using the DVC website.

It's the magic of Disney--they're consistently inconsistent;)

I have used them three times in recent years and have also been told each time there was NO way to arrange something to be delivered pre-arrival. No budging. But every time I’ve posted that when this question comes up, someone chimes in with an opposite experience.

I’ve come to the conclusion I must not be asking the right way. :-)

My husband had an anniversary package from Disney Floral waiting in our room when we first walked in upon arrival this past July. Not sure how he was able to get it delivered prior to our arrival, pretty confident he just went through the online order process. Another lovely YMMV situation at WDW.

That's what I tried to do, using the online order system and I entered a time that was prior to our arrival. I got a call to tell me it was not possible for it to be placed in the room before I arrived. This one was one of the celebrations that included decorating the door. The best they would do was to time it to place it when we left for dinner. The times before that the only option I was given was to have it left at the front desk and to call them to have it brought up after we arrived

That has been my experience as well. I have given up! LOL!

In my random data point I wonder if it was because we literally arrived at the hotel around 8 or 9 PM and delivery services didn't want to hold onto it another day? Who knows, maybe they got an alert we had boarded DME? Or POFQ is so small they just happened to beat us to the room...
