Disney Car Care vs Dolphin pick up?

Any reason to choose one location over the other...? Rates are the same.

Car Care center will have more cars available and their hours may be more convenient. They also have a shuttle that will pick you up at your resort.

We use the Dolphin as we can walk from the BC. But @OKW Lover is correct. The hours are longer at the CC and they do have a free shuttle to pick you up

You might consider what you will be doing the day you pick up the car. We spent the day at Epcot with a very late lunch reservation at Via Napoli. After lunch I left via the international gateway while the rest continued touring the world showcase. I took the Friendship cruise all the way to the Dolphin where I was next in line to pick up the car.
If I had picked up the car from the car care center, I think it would have interfered with our day to a much greater extent.

Another option would be to plan a Hollywood studios day. At some point the driver could slip away, take boat to Dolphin, rent car, and drive back to HS parking lot. I bet the whole thing would only take about an hour.

We're going to be at MK.
My BIL's family is joining us on the last two days of our trip and they will have a car. He can probably just drive DH to car care while the rest of us wrap up at the park, so that we don't have to worry about the shuttle. If we had planned to be at Epcot, I would definitely use Dolphin for simplicity.
