Disney Car Care Centre shuttle?

We are heading to Disney World in November and want to check out Legoland one day. We would like to rent a car for the day from the Car Care Centre. Can anyone tell me if the shuttle to return you to your resort runs after their closing hours? Or will my husband need to take a cab back to the resort after he drops the car off? I believe Alamo closes at 6pm the day we would like to rent (saturday), but we don't plan on returning from Legoland and until around 7pm. Thanks in advance!

For whatever it's worth, the official page, https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/car-rental-services/, says you'll need to arrange your own cab, but it also says hours are later than you've stated as your return (the shuttle, according to the web page, runs till 7.

Car rentals are for 24-hour periods. Just set up your reservation to return your rental car the next morning when National/Alamo at the CCC reopens. That way, you're not rushed in the evening. The price is the same as long as you don't go over 24 hours.

The added bonus is that you'll have car that evening. You can use it to get to a Disney restaurant that's awkward to get to without a car (such as Sanaa). Or you can have dinner at one of the many terrific off-site restaurants, which typically provide better value than Disney restaurants.

Another option is to set up your reservation to return at the WDW Dolphin. You then have WDW buses and boats to the parks. It's an especially good option if you plan to "hop" to a Disney park that evening, but you might not want to do that after a long day at LEGOLAND.
