Disney Candles?

It's the soy. Soy isn't a great wax for scents

While they say soy burns cleaner it doesn't like to give off fragrance as well as parrifin wax does

Walter & Rosie! They're awesome. And they've just revamped their candles - the labels are nicer, the jars are nicer, and the scents are stronger. Love, love, love.

Maple and Whiskey are wonderful (they even have PoTC and Haunted Mansion scents), they are UK based on Etsy so not sure what shipping will be like.

Maple and Whisky on Etsy! They are based in the UK though, so shipping to the U.S. is a little higher than most people are used to, and it can take a little bit for your order to arrive. Very much worth it! I like Beach Club, Main St. Bakery, Pineapple Whip, and Butterbeer (not Disney, obviously, but I love it so much I had to throw it in there).

I second this - The Pineapple Whip one is amazing.

Another vote for Walter and Rosie. Beach Club especially. They said they changed wax so they can add more scent now since they relaunched their new website- so that may disregard others concerns about the throw of the candles but I don't know for sure because I haven't ordered yet. But I do have a shelf full of their scents. They've almost completely replaced Yankee Candle for me

Rome Burning - DOES NOT SMELL LIKE ROME BURNING AT ALL! I was most disappointed with this one. Not even slightly similar.

Got me thinking though - I LOVE that smell. Anyone have any suggestions on how to replicate it? Short of burning Rome, that is.

I have Rome Burning in the wax tarts from Walter & Rosie and it smells exactly like that part of Spaceship Earth

Believe it or not, I am actually making a list with everyone's suggestions. Has anyone ever found a candle that smells like the lobby of Wilderness Lodge?

Next time I go to Disney I swear I am bringing a notepad to record the smell of every single place.

I know this is super old, but so frustrated I didn't check this site before ordering or looking around the internet. I bought from Spireside/Anthropology and had a similar issue. First Haunted Mansion is head ache inducing in me, it is so floral. No one in the house liked it. I tried to get a return got run around, left a very nice, but honest feedback on the scent and then they ignored me. It seems from Etsy feedback, this is not unusual for them.So sad, I really wanted a Haunted Mansion scent too. Anyone know of a good one?

Wishes Candle Company on Etsy has a good one! It's called "Welcome, Foolish Mortals". They're my go-to candle makers. Walter & Rosie no longer makes the candles themselves and their scents aren't very strong anymore - I can never smell them, so I stopped buying altogether. I've tried Spireside in the past and while the candle scent was strong, it wasn't what I was expecting from the description. Way too floral for me. I've heard good things about Maple & Whiskey but haven't tried their candles myself.

Fan of Walt's Wonderful World from Columbia Candles. I have several of the candles, yesterday I had two 4 oz bottles of fragrance oil arrive. Added some to my oil diffuser, voila, instant Beach Club!

Aw man, I love spireside! I've had great luck with their CS too. We got a candle that just wouldn't burn right and was missing a label and they sent out a new one with a freebie! (The burn issue was a one-time problem).

We have Haunted Mansion, Pirates, I am Moana, Splash Down, and Wilderness Lodge and we love them all! Funny enough, my husband bought Pirates as a gift, and I knew what it was as soon as I opened the mailbox!

That's disappointing to hear about Walter and Rosie but maybe explains why my Beach Club tarts I ordered in July don't smell the same. Don't get me wrong, they smell good but not like the lobby. The original candles and tarts I ordered from W&R over a year ago were dead on.

I just ordered Big Top and Yacht n Beach from Wishes candle co and while they smell great they are not strong. I do love the mystery pins inside though! Great touch.
