Just wanted to post a quick "thank you" to the bus drivers who drove while we were there last month. We have become used to renting and driving ourselves around, but our last trip we stayed at SSR and relied on the bus service. First let me say, I would not do it again as there are way too many stops and it is soooo inconvenient when you are trying to get from one resort to another for dining reservations. Even in an "off" season, it took way too long IMHO to get from point A to B.
However, we had several GREAT bus drivers whose names I wish that I knew who gave us EXCELLENT service
. One driver drove us direct from our bus stop (Springs) to the CR so we would make our dining ressie at Cali Grill. I think he was going off duty and was so nice. He said that he could have taken us to MK which is where he should have gone but it would have been mayhem as the park was closing and we would have gotten caught in the throng of people getting on the monorail. Second, my daughter left her pocketbook with her nintendo ds and all of her games at the bus stop. When we realized it, he (we were still making the other 4 stops at SSR), he took us back to our stop to look for it (Yes we did get it back as someone had brought it to the front desk). Lastly, we were trying to get to a dinner ressie at BW and we took the bus to DTD. When we got off the bus, the driver changed her route to BW so we got right back on. She checked and since we were the only passengers, after a Typhoon Lagoon stop, she took us directly to BW rather than making the several other stops at S&D and Y&BC.
So, once again....THANK YOU!
