how many of you guys disney bound? do you do it outside the parks? what characters have you done? and who do you want to do??

I did it a couple of times in the parks on my April trip. I did Jasmine one day and Ursula another.

I've just finished putting together Snow White so I'm planning on that my next trip. I want to do Pocahontas but haven't found anything to use yet. It's hard to put together outfits when you are 50+ and plus sized.

i havent been to the parks yet but i want to do a bunch of princesses, in regular life i have done ariel and lilo and not really disney bounding but i have an aladdin dress (BM knocok off) and cinderella

DD16 just bought a super cute Minnie Mouse outfit from Kohls Disney's Minnie Mouse Collection from Lauren Conrad. She got the red polka dot shorts with big bow and matching white blouse with red polka dot scalloped collar.

What is Disney bound?
It's wearing outfits that are evocative of a certain character without being an outright costume. If you were Disney bounding Pooh, for example, you'd wear yellow pants and a red shirt. You can google for examples.

I haven't worn any to the parks yet since I just discovered Disney bounding recently, but I have some pink leggings with white polka dots for Minnie Mouse, a pair of Ariel leggings, and I went full on Alice in Wonderland yesterday with Alice leggings and Alice shirt. I have plans for some more outfits too.

i just ordered this to do belle http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Sexy-Wo...Domain_2&var=430840263889&hash=item1e9c97702d Belle was always my favourite and my partner loves when i wear yellow(which i like never do lol) so im super excired. I have a list of dresses saved i slowly want to order before my trip to do more, yesterday i orded to bikinis to combine so i got high waisted red and white polka dot bottoms and a black bow style top to have a minnie mouse bikini :D

Is this the same as when they dress up like the 50s or 60s? I feel like that's a dress up thing but I could be wrong! :)

techincally that can be but isnt always, your thinking of dapper days, alot of people will disbound on dapper days but you dont need to be dapper or retro to disneybound. Dapper days your supposed to be fancey often retro but doesnt have to be retro but is intended to be on the fancy side. Disneybounding aka closet cosplay are outfits inspired by characters, they dont need to be formal at all if you look at some of the popular guides some are super casual, although there are fancy ones to. so above i descrided my minnie bikini another easy example would be green pants with purple shirt would ariel.

Dapper days! That's what it's called! I knew it was something...

Thanks!

I disneybounded on our last trip. I did Anna from Frozen (got the dress from Hot Topic, had a white hair extension in my braid), Ariel (red tank top with Ariel on it, jeans, black cardigan with an anchor on it, seashell necklace), Snow White (blue tshirt, yellow shorts, red headband w/hair bow), Village Belle (blue dress w/white long sleeve shirt underneath, blue hair bow), and Beauty and the Beast (stained glass dress and enchanted rose necklace from Hot Topic). It was pretty chilly, so I wound up wearing leggings and sometimes a hoodie with my outfits, which kinda ruined it for me. :(

Next year I want to disbound as Minnie, Woody, and R2D2. I haven't figured out if I want to repeat any of the ones that I did this year, since I didn't get many pics due to how chilly it was.

I'm Disney Bounding my trip as a new princess each day! I have 7 Disney Days (but I'm also going to do Rogue from X Men for Universal).

I have a question though - I'm going the second week of June and it will be HOT. I have reservations at some Signature Dining places - if I'm wearing a tank top, will I need a cardigan to be seated in these places?

What I plan on doing:

First Day: Snow White - blue shirt, yellow sailor shorts, red sneakers, red hair bow. Hair in high ponytail/bun.
Second Day: Jasmine/Star Wars - Teal shirt with Rapunzel/Star Wars mashup graphic, teal mosaic shorts, gold necklace and earrings, teal sneakers, hair in 3 part ponytail.
Third Day: Ariel - Purple tank, green shorts, seashell earrings, purple tropical flower for hair, purple sneakers. Parting hair to the side and doing a mock victory roll to get more volume in the front like her bangs.
Fourth Day: Universal - (Harry Potter day - Ravenclaw tank, blue shorts, blue sneakers.)
Fifth Day: Univeresal - Rogue - yellow shirt, green shorts, yellow sneakers, possibly green headband or bandana.
Sixth Day: Aurora - Pink shirt, pink shorts, gold necklace, owl earrings, pink sneakers. No idea what to do for hair.
Seventh Day: Belle - Yellow shirt, yellow sailor shorts, yellow sneakers, red rose earrings, red rose hair clip to connect side part sections to the bun.
Eighth Day: Rapunzel - Purple tank, grey/purple shorts, gold flower earrings, flower headband tie, hair in braid, purple sneakers.
Ninth Day: Cinderella - Blue tank, blue shorts, blue headband, pearl earrings, blue sneakers, hair in high bun.

Love your plans! i plan to bring clothes folded small in my backpack i want mainly do dresses but similar ideas as yours, not sure if i am going to do minnie in the parks now because i got a minnie bikini for at the resort

I am trying Maleficent for my March trip: black skinny jeans, dark purple tank, black short-sleeved shrug. Looking for a scarf with purple and green in it and maybe some cute black boots, but I have lots of time.

I wore a red T-shirt and khakis to Epcot (not Disney bounding, I just like red t-shirts) on my last trip and Pooh about squeezed me to death! I might try that again, just to see.

I did one bound while I was on my trip last year, and didn't really know it. I did coronation Elsa. This upcoming trip, I'm bounding every day! I do some at home too. I love finding the right clothes for it, it is so fun!

me to! i have one non bounding outfit picked that i found on etsy its still disney themed they have these 'baseball shirts' and on the back there is a mickey logo and then where the players name would be it says together and the other one says since and the numbers make the year so my bf and i will wear those one day :)

I only recently found out about it, but I will be doing it for the first time on my next trip in September. It's been a lot of fun just trying to put outfits together. So far, I've got Cinderella, Belle, and Ariel. I can't wait to try them out in the parks, and see if anyone notices.
