Disney Bounding

Hello! :wave2:My daughter and I are planning to Disneybound next July for our trip to the World, the boy Rascal may also but he's undecided. She plans to be Villains and thinks I should be Princesses- I'm in a wheelchair, so not sure how that will work, but I'm thinking of disneyfying my chair as well! lol. There are some fab resources for Disneybound outfits on Pinterest and there is also a long running thread full of bounders and pictures that you all might want to pop in on as well... :D http://www.disboards.com/threads/cosplay-and-disney-inspired-outfits-for-adults.3250443/ also see... http://www.disboards.com/threads/disneybound-ing.3297929/ Seems there are quite a few of us into this topic. :)

I would love to see other people's pictures so we can share ideas. Here's what I have so far for my next trip. Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella.ariel 1.JPG ariel 2.JPG belle 1.JPG belle 2.JPG cinderella 1.JPG cinderella 2.JPG

I did when I was with my dd and her bff last month. At my age, I felt that I didn't want to be over the top...so stuck with skorts/capris and tee shirts or tank tops that evoked particular characters. Black bottoms, purple top for Maleficent. While top and bottom for Olaf. Snow White....blue and yellow with a red belt. Pooh was yellow top and bottom, with red belt. Goofy was orange tee, royal blue capris and a green knit Goofy hat (even in the 95 degree heat!!!), Genie was royal blue capris, blue tee and red belt.

i have one non bounding outfit picked that i found on etsy its still disney themed they have these 'baseball shirts' and on the back there is a mickey logo and then where the players name would be it says together and the other one says since and the numbers make the year so my bf and i will wear those one day :)

I love that! Could you use this to Disneybound as Casey's Corner? IDK

I have never Disneybounded, just heard about it this year. But I can't wait to try it out next year! Mine will be more subtle, casual clothes over cosplay. May or may not be noticed by others but it will still be fun. I think the whole family is getting in on it, which is gonna be epic! :cool1::thumbsup2:banana:

My oldest DD (HS senior) has done Merida (her favorite). She got a special interaction with her (skipping, holding hands, talking about their clothes) It was absolutely adorable and she was like a little kid bubbling over with excitement.

She also did Esmeralda last trip. She assumed no one would get it, but it was a super cute outfit so she wore it anyway. Several CMs approached her with compliments and were excited to see their first Esmeralda Disney bounding.

My daughter goes regularly to Disneyland and will Disneybound with her friends. I've never been creative enough. I mostly participate by taking pictures.

I have, and I am going to on this trip. Leaving tomorrow morning! :tigger:

I've done subtle ones at home. Green skirt, green tank top, brown leather sandals, feather necklace and a red barrette in hair, for Peter Pan. Done the same green outfit, with a yellow sweater and a pixie charm bracelet for Tink.

Here's a couple I did last year, and I plan on doing Snow again, with the yellow shirt, but a solid blue shirt. Also plan on doing Belle and Ariel. image.jpeg

Here are the photos of my disneybound from last June!

(headband broke a few hours into the day)

Ariel: I didn't take any photos with characters that day, though I contemplated doing Ariel. I had a flower in my hair and it swooped to the side.

Aurora: Next time, I'd try for a pink dress and gold headband.

Belle:

Rapunzel:

Cinderella: (Pretty much every princess thought I was Disneybounding as her. Ariel thought it was her blue dress, Elsa and Anna thought it was Elsa's dress, Aurora mentioned her Blue dress.)

Elsa thought my sparkle shoes were "snowflake shoes"

My daughter does it - Tinkerbelle, etc. Lots of stuff can be found on Amazon. Can't give too much away until after her birthday though!

I guess I unintentionally did it when I went to DL last year. As you can see by my profile picutre! I wore my 50's inspired red polka dotted dress with a black crinoline and then picked up the ears because I liked them after dinner! Didn't even realize what I'd done until we took the picture haha!

Iv already posted some of mine on IG sarajenivieve soon I'll have them all up
