I am SOOOO glad that I am not the only one with a binder!! My DH, BFF, and BFF's DH all have been making fun of me. We're taking our girls (born 3 weeks apart) to WDW for their 4th birthday next year.
When I am planning a WDW trip, I buy the following for the year we are going (I even pre-order them

) Passporter, The Unofficial Guide to WDW, Birnbaum's Guide and this time I am adding Birnbaum's Guide for Kids. I read each of them cover to cover and make notes and add post-it flags to the pages so I can easily locate the information.
I have 2 binders that are 1 1/2 inches each, which I narrow down to 1 binder that is 1 1/2 inch prior to our departure.
However, my initial binders contain the following 16 tabs
1. Packing List
This is self created using various web packing lists
2. Flight plans & Hotels in transit
We like to take the last flight out of here and since we have to make a connection, then we take the first flight out the next morning from our connecting city. This allows us to have the maximum amount of time at my Happy Place.
3. Animal Kingdom Lodge (the resort we will be staying at)
This includes the following:
Cover sheet
a map of the property
Confirmation
Allears.net Fact Sheet
Allears.net Concierge Offerings
4. Concierge Requests
Sunrise Safari Information
Emails back and forth to concierge
5. Expenditures
List of planned expenditures (i.e. magic your way package,
DDP, etc)
6. Schedule (this is an evolving document)
7. Character Dining
Excel spreadsheet of all character dining options including location and synopsis
Menus from each Character dining option from allears.net
8. ADRs
This includes the following:
PS Calculator from link in Allears.net
DDP brochure
List of restaurants that require a credit card guarantee
Menus for Table Service Restaurants on the DDP by park or resort
Menu for Counter Service at AKL
9. Animal Kingdom
This includes the following:

Park Map
Age appropriate tours
Crowd Calendar from
www.touringplans.com/tp2/UG2_index.php?PageID=0
PhotoPass Locations
Park section from A Complete Guide to WDW on
www.guide2wdw.com
Live Entertainment from Steve Soares' Live Entertainment on pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/
10. Epcot
Same as AK
11. Disney's Hollywood Studios
Same as AK
12. Magic Kingdom
Same as AK
13. Other Activities
This includes information about Downtown Disney, water parks, etc.
14. Other Information
This includes any arrangements made with the Disney Florist, luggage tags for the flight home, etc.
15. Invitations to each TS and corresponding envelopes
16. Mousekeeping Envelopes
The week before we leave I take out a lot of the informational planning type things and I can squeeze what I need into 1 binder.
While in the parks, I just take the Passporter pocket for that day, a schedule of live entertainment including character locations and Photopass locations, a list of restaurants and what type of food they serve as well as any ADR information.
Now I'm thinking that I may need to add in Hidden Mickey and Pressed Coin locations.
I get so excited about our trips that I plan for over a year.
