Cute update and the pics are adorable. That couch at GF is the same place DD fell asleep last September. I would love to go to DIsney closer to Christmas to see the hotels decorated and the Gingerbread house. Also the MVMCP. I even thought about moving our family trip to after Thanksgiving but with Kaylee's fall break and our friends going now October just fits the schedule better.

Buzz will be coming out momentarily so we hop in line for him. I gave him a pat on the tush and told him it was from Nicole (lovesbuzzandwoody)!!

Hey Nicole!! You've really been missed around here! I guess you're moved and trying to settle in. Hope to see you more, but it won't be on here. I've got two more installments and then it's The End. Thought I'd never get there huh?!

It's our last day at Disney. I have mixed feelings. I love Disney and hate to leave, but I'm so tired and ready to go home. The plan for the day was to head to AK and meet up with Michelle(mkluvsmickey) and her daughter Sam. Then we'd head over to Epcot. I was so excited to meet her. Again, a little nervous, but excited.

We were up fairly early since we had to pack up the van. Dave's favorite thing to do! NOT!! Poor Dave! We pack up, look for anything we left behind. Check the bathroom 3 more times. Make Hunter shimmie under the bed and look for things. All clear! I look back at our home for the last week, and close the door.

We get to Ak around 9:30 and let me tell you, our wonderful breeze that we had had all week was gone! It was now hot and sticky. And guess what I was wearing? A long sleeve, black shirt! We got a couple of Photopass pics and stopped for a picture with one of the ugliest villains Disney has to offer!
This tree was one of my favorites. Loved it!

We head in to get a times guide. The sole purpose of coming back to AK was to see Finding Nemo the Musical, and hopefully see the Flight of Wonder bird show. Finding Nemo starts at 10:00am! And the race is on!! We are booking it at top speed to get there. I know that we won't get in. This show fills up 45 minutes early! The DIS said so! I'm chanting in my head "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!" We made it with literally 3 minutes to spare and there were plenty of seats! I am literally dripping with sweat! Oh good, Michelle will be so impressed! The show starts and it was FABULOUS!!! My mom's new favorite Disney attraction!

I call Michelle and they are getting off of Primeval Whirl and we head that way. As we walk up I see them! It was just like we were old friends! Another great DIS meet! Sam's a cutie. A little shy, but Hunter will get her over that! And wouldn't you know Michelle brought us gifts!! How nice was that? She really is as nice in person as she is online!! Michelle, Sam, me and Hunter go for a spin on Primeval and Mom takes Meggie on Triceratop Spin. Dave takes a much needed break!

Bird show time! I've heard this is a good show, but I'm not a fan of birds flying over my head. Let me rephrase that, I'm a quite creeped out about it. I'm fine outside, but it has something to do with being enclosed with them. When a bird is flying around inside Home Depot there's a pretty good chance I'm leaving. And forget about getting me into the bird enclosure at the zoo! So we go into the bird show and get close seats, but off to the side where I hope the birds won't fly! Well, we weren't over far enough because I almost got kicked in the head!! It really was a good show and I didn't run out screaming!

Afterwards Hunter wants to ride EE, but the wait was too long. We had ADR's to get to. We say our goodbyes to Michelle and Sam, but make plans to meet back up later at Epcot. We leave AK, and get a quick pic with Meeko, whom we love!

Next up: My favorite meal of the trip and a super surprise!

The pictures that you got from the GF are awesome! If that doesn't put you in the Christmas spirt..... I don't know what would. I was laughing at that Megan and her smiles, that girl cracks me up!

I totally agree on the Nemo show, it was GREAT! Loved the pictures of you with Michelle and Sam. I would guess that Michelle is as wonderful in person as she is on here! I can't wait to meet her.
Favorite picture is the one with you all in front of the tree and Megan is completely looking elsewhere
As far as ugliest Villian, I would have to agree with you, Gov Radcliffe is hideious. I'm not sure why he is even still out

Loved your update! I'm putting Flights of wonder on our list. It looks so fun except the whole birds flying so close to you head thing. I just hope they don't drop bird bombs on us during the show as they are big birds. Anyway the pics of your Megan and Hunter with Meeko are so cute. After reading Michelle's trippie and yours sounds like you had a wonderful DIs meet. I'm not surprised at all that your families got along so well. Sad to see your trip report is coming to and end .

Great update Monica! (I feel like I say that each time - but each one IS great, so what else am I going to say, right?) Why are we always updating on the same day, anyway? I checked my post time and it was like 30 minutes after yours - I swear I wasn't copying you. I actually started on mine right after DWTS went off. Swear!

Anyways, gotta love those packing up the van days, huh? Shawn turns into "Mr. Hyde" when it's time for that.

Isn't Nemo great? I loved it and I hope to see it again soon . Primeval Whirl? I don't know about that one. I might have to be talked into it!

I've never seen the bird show because...well...it has BIRDS! They are beautiful and all, but I get a little freaked out when I get to my car in the Target parking lot and they are all hovering around eating some popcorn that someone dropped right next to my driver's side door! Needless to say, the bird area at Busch Gardens near our house, does not get a visit from this lady! I will watch from a distance!

Looking forward to the Epcot part. Did you eat at the Garden Grill? Because if you did, that is weird, as I am getting to my Epcot portion of our last day and we ate at the Garden Grill!

The other two that are super ugly are Hades and the villain from Mulan. That guy freaks me out. He was in one of the parades in '04 and I was hoping he'd stay away from me. I can't imagine how little kids feel!

Just don't volunteer! They have two people sit on stage and have the owl fly straight at them so they can get a picture! My worst nightmare!!!

Monica, so sorry I was slow getting over here. I swear, I did not know you'd posted an update. And of all ones to be missing, the one where you meet Michelle and Sam. Sorry guys.

I have never seen that bird show. I also am a little creeped out about birds flying over my head. I'm not as bad as you so I guess if you can get through it, so can I. Maybe next trip.

Love Megan's sunglasses. What a styling little lady she is. She just needs some crocs now. Cmon mom, get her the crocs.

And I can't wait to hear what your favorite place to eat is. Somehow I don't think it's going to be the same place that I would pick.

Every morning she would put on her glasses and use her fanny pack like a purse. I couldn't help but take her picture! I had her try on some Crocs and they looked really cute on her. So the question is at what shoe size do they go from cute to boats?!

Well, Hunter loves animals so I took one for the team. He really enjoyed the show so I'm glad we did it. Actually big birds don't bother me. It's the smaller ones. Ew! I just got a chill thinking about it!
