Loved the Chef Mickey's pics! Sorry you didn't get to eat much dinner there. Reading about this day I can see why you were grouchy. The security lady sounds just nasty, glad you called he on it. Too funny about the man going to interrupt your Mickey time. SOme people don't know hot to wait their turn. You started this trip with no sleep and are ending the trip exhausted too. I think I'm going to relax on my arrival day this year and one day in the middle of the trip too. It's awful when you go home exhausted.

After we left Chef Mickey's with full tummies (well, some of us had full tummies..) we decide to look around Comtemporary for a bit. We spent some time in the gift shop then walked around. Inside the gift shop they were playing the soundtrack from the Candlelight Processional we had seen the night before. Or maybe it was a live feed since it was the same narrator? A nice reminder.

This sculpture is made completely of candy!!!

Time to hop on the monorail and ride over to Grand Floridian to check out this famous gingerbread house. Well, we weren't the only ones who had this idea! It was a Friday night and the monorail was packed and so was Grand Floridian! I think alot of locals came to have pictures taken in front of the tree. There was a family with a 2 week old baby so I'm pretty sure they weren't vacationing, but I could be wrong! I wondered how the people staying here felt about their resort being so crowded.

The decorations here were beautiful!

I really wanted to get Megan's picture with the wonderful decor, but she just wasn't cooperating!

Ok, that didn't work. Let's try the steps...

I GIVE UP!!

The tree was gorgeous, the gingerbread house amazing, and the live Christmas music playing just set the mood. Grand Floridian at Christmastime is a must see! They even had a Photopass CM set up taking pictures.

The kids had a great time dancing!

The kids were too wound up so Dave and I jumped in for a picture by ourselves!

We were wiped out by now, and rested a bit before we decided to leave.

Try one more picture of Megan and and we finally get it! And one with her big brother on the way out.

We head down to the buses to hop on one to DTD. THEY HAVE TV's! So let me get this straight. Value=you stand in the hot sun with no where to sit. Moderate=benches, coverings, and fans. Grand Floridian=covering, nice benches and TVs!! Good to know! We end our night on a happy note and head back to the room. To sleep? No, it's our last night so I have some packing to do. Mom takes Hunter to the pool and he had a good time. (For those of you keeping track, yes this is the only time he got to swim!)

Next up: Our last day and a fabulous DIS meet!

I don't know what you are talking about with Megan's pictures. The first group is fabulous! She looks adorable! The steps ones are funny! So typical of a 2 year old! You need to have your camera set to action or sports mode so you can catch the quick movement!

I love the pictures of the whole family wiped out!

Glad to hear that Hunter got to swim! How late was it? It seems like it must have been like midnight or something?

Monica, this was a GREAT installment again, up there in the top again. LOL. Don't ya love the GF? Mo and I stayed here, club level in the main building, on our very first trip, and it really makes it tough to go anywhere else. We thought every place had those TV's and a live orchestra every evening. Boy were we in for a shocker for our next visit to the Yacht Club. Out in the sun, no TV's, no orchestra

If I wasn't old enough to be his grandmother (maybe even his great grandmother), I would think Hunter could be my soul mate. First, the crocs. Now the hats. And he likes soccer. Definitely my kind of guy.

I'm trying to keep pace with you with my TR installments so as soon as I'm feeling better, I'll have to get back on mine too. I feel your pain. I just want to finish now. The great thing about the Dec trip is that everyone can write a part, nobody is stuck with the entire trip.

I'm looking at a Pop stay as an adventure. What I'm truly afraid of is that I'm going to find I've been wasting my money all these years by staying at Deluxes. I'm not sure I could admit to Mo that I've been wrong (he thinks the Deluxes are way overpriced). It may just have to be our little secret, just you, me, and the 175000 other dis members.

That's a great picture! Yes, Hunter is a great big brother, most of the time! They got along great on the trip. I'm sad my report is coming to an end, but now I get get caught up on everyone else's!

Hey Tat! I'm not normally so vocal to mean people, but I felt like she was treating me like a criminal!

I was trying to change Megan into her party dress and she was naked, standing on the changing table, shakin it! She entertained the ladies room and anyone walking past!

She is very tall for her age. She was 39" at Disney so she's at least 40" by now. My hubbie is 6'2 and brother is 6'5. She is in a 4T dress beacause she's so tall.

You need to go at Christmas sometime. It was beautiful.

Just catching up, as I've been busy orchestrating 2 huge fundraisers for my kiddos schools.

Pooh poo on that CM!

Dancing in the potty is great. We should be so free to dance more often, who cares who is watching.

I am so excited to see all of the Christmas decorations at the GF. I for sure will plan to not be there on a Friday (or Sat).

I am sorry you missed the food at CM. We have always enjoyed our meals there. As far as Buffets go, the food has always been good for both breakfast and dinner.
