Disney Bells and Pixie Dust! Our Practically Perfect Vacation!*Thanks for reading!

Oh the shame, making a child cry at Disney. I could never do that. :rolleyes1

Okay, me too... :rotfl2: ! You are too funny Scott!

Monica... I actually was expecting your "moment" to be much worse than that! That was just a mild, a day in my life, kinda moment! ;) Here is where I will put my degree in child development to good use... Disney is a very over stimulating place... and it stimulates in every which way possible. Which is why we love it! But that is also why that at some point during a trip, even if your kid is having the best time of their little life, all that stimulation is bound to boil over and come flying back out... usually in the form of tears over something that would normally not be a big deal. Wouldn't you agree?

And look at how well Hunter recovered from his melt down? Back to grinning ear to ear! And him with the moose.... too cute! (Even with that freaky Gene Simmons tongue of his! :lmao: )

The pics looked great. Keep the Figment character ones, he is gone from what I read.

Glad u liked Le Cellier I am eating there and I cannot wait.

Great update. :thumbsup2

Oh Scott!:rotfl: I think you and Sara need to REREAD your own reports!:rotfl:

I've read mixed reveiws on Le Cellier, but we really loved it. However, we were starving and Megan slept through it so we had an undestracting meal so I'd probably write a great reveiw for McDonalds!

the ride is there but the character meet is gone.

That's too bad about Figment. I blame the handler!

I absolutely agree! If it happened at home it wouldn't have been a big deal. Go to your room and scream your head off, then come out and appologize when you're ready! It's the everyone staring at us part that makes it so much worse. After reading some of the threads on this board I know EXACTLY what these people are thinking:mad: . I shouldn't care, but I do. I'm not one to not disipline if we're out either. I've actually been known to pull a chair over and put Hunter in time out wherever we are. My kids sat in time out in the grocery store just this week!

I just had Hunter stick out his tongue and it's not pointy. Just a weird picture I guess!:confused3

Monica, I have not forgot about you. I'm about to read, I swear :goodvibes

That was a very mild moment Monica! I've had the same breakdown myself at home even :rolleyes1

Love LeCellier! DS had the same issue with the kids meal, but the waitress was great and caught it before he ordered. She got rid of the apple "dessert" and substituted a kids sundae. Of course what he really wanted was the creme brulee, so he shared with his daddy :goodvibes

Love Figment! DS also has/had an issue with the skunk  it's taken several years and multiple visits for him to not have a fit about it :sad2:

Forgot to mention Hunters question to Crush before, he did a good job :goodvibes Most of the kids I've seen get so nervous they can't ask anything. My DS asked Crush how long turtles live, to which Crush replied "whoa morbid question little dude" :rotfl: That's one moment I'll never forget! :rotfl2:

As always, looking forward to the next installment :goodvibes

Mine was A-HA! :rotfl2:

Remember,

TAKE...ON....ME...! :music:

I loved me some Norweigan boy band!

Kool and the Gang always reminds me of the roller rink for some reason. Celebrate good times! Come on! :yay: (Hey that could be our theme song for December) :goodvibes

Sara

Enjoying your trip report:thumbsup2

Not only did I make a child cry on one of my Disney trips but a child has made me cry too:headache: :sad2:

My first concert was Kiss too! My kids' first concert was Trans Siberian Orchestra - they loved it!

Kimba

Uh, no! Think more Jeff Corwin!:rotfl: A crazy animal person is more in his future! Trivia: Dave's 1st concert was KISS! Mine was Kool and the Gang!:lmao:

Mine was Heart.

I forgot to mention that the pic you have of The Seas/Monorail/SE Ball looks like a postcard - great! :thumbsup2

Hey Monica. My DS had a Disney meltdown too, only he was 25 at the time. I had to ask him to leave the restaurant. At least at that age, you can leave them unsupervised until they calm down. :rotfl:

We are not fans of Le Cellier must recognize we are in the minority but I'm so glad all of you enjoyed it. I do think that for a 1TS on the dining plan, it's a good value though.

and I totally agree regarding people who do not like kids. Not just CM's, but anybody there. Kind of a stupid place to vacation.

Hi! We decided that Le Cellier has the best creme brulee at Disney. So good! Makes sense about the Figment ride. Who wants to smell a skunk?! Hunter is pretty much the least shy of a child I have ever met! The other day at Kohl's I found him at Customer Service asking a question!:upsidedow We were proud of him at Turtle Talk. We always praise him for being so outgoing.

Sara

I also saw New Kids on the Block 3 times! I loved Donnie!

Kids! Can't live with 'em, can't sell 'em!:rotfl:

Well, my adult in a resteraunt meltdown came later!:rolleyes1

So, Pakey. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CONCERT?!:rolleyes1

First concert, Santana, 1968. I was in jr. high (while you guys were not even ideas yet).

Last concert, System of a Down, 2006. I haven't grown up much (SoD is/was my favorite group).

Crud, I forgot I took my parents to see Celine Dion in Las Vegas about 4 months ago. Do I have to count that one?

Best concert, Queen, 1975, in New Orleans. Loved Freddy Mercury.

I must admit I saw Kiss in concert a zillion times. Seriously. Saw them 7 times in one year around 1978 (while you were probably potty training). We lived on Cape Cod Mass and actually followed them from venue to venue on weekends in New England because I loved that tour that year.

Mine was Janet..... Miss Jackson if you're nasty!

I saw her concert. I have seen 3 or 4 of her concerts.

My first was Madonna "Like a Virgin" tour. Now I am getting ready for her new tour. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

OMG, Hunter's tongue IS long!!:lmao:

I think my first concert was KISS, too. Hard to believe, huh?;)

No, Celine Dion doesn't count!:rotfl: (JK Celine fans!)

I haven't seen many concerts.:sad2: I did like Fleetwood Mac a couple of years ago. And the big one in highschool, Bon Jovi and Skid Row!

Pakey was a groupie!:thumbsup2

I didn't know she was going back on tour.

Not surprised Tat! The first "conversation" we ever had on here was about rock bands!

*Are you and Scott going to be at Disney at the same time? I just noticed your tickers. I didn't realize you had a pre trippie until yesterday!

I remember that! Hair bands, right? Speaking of that, the LAST concert I was at was Skid Row last Saturday night. That brings back such good memories.:goodvibes

Scott's leaving the day after I get there, so we're going to have to meet up the night I get there. Or maybe I'll head over to Beaches and Cream and have a No Way Jose with Scott!!:lmao:
