We had a great time with the characters and as we exited guess who was setting up? Its the Jammitors! We watched them bang away on the garbage cans. A fun time and a great potential Disney job for my kids! Theyre great at making noise! When they were finished they passed out junior Jammitors in training stickers. I wanted to keep them nice to scrapbook with, the kids wanted to wear them. Oh well!
We decided to head over to the Seas since we had awhile until our Fast Passes for Soarin. Lynn called and guess what?! They won dream fast passes!! Well, Ill tell you now. We never did meet up. Sorry Lynn. We just seemed to be behind them the whole day! Well meet some day. She only lives 30 minutes from me! Megan loved the seagulls. They spoke her language! Mine, Mine, Mine! We also got some Photopass pics here.
After some pics we headed in. We walked straight onto a clam. The girls in one clam, the boys in another. It was cute. I did like the part with the jellyfish. We exited our clams and walked around looking at fish and manatees. This place is just OK for me. There are just so many really neat aquariums around that this one is just average. Now I am not too clausterphobic, but I felt a little panicky in the tunnel and had to get out of there! I think it was a combination of being a little hungry, it was hot in there, and a little closed in. I got into the open area and immediately felt better. We took the typical kids in Bruces mouth picture then we hopped in the waiting area for Turtle Talk.
I was very excited about this show. I had heard such wonderful things and we had never been. We had to wait awhile and I did not like the way they pack the people into that room. YUCK! They finally let us in and Hunter took a seat up front with the other kids. I made sure I told him to wait right there afterwards since I had heard it can be hard to locate your kids when its over. This show was very funny and very cool. The part with Dory and the whale cracked me up! Then it was question time. Little girl asks about what turtles eat, little boy forgets his question, and then Crush says, Little dude in front with the black shirt. Uh Oh! I get that mixed feeling of Cool, he called on Hunter! and What the heck is Hunter gonna say?! We get this feeling a lot during childrens moment at church! Hunter says, So, whats it like being a turtle? Everyone laughs, and Crush seems a little surprised by the question, but recovers quickly. It was funny. Im actually really glad that Hunters not shy. Most of the time!
Its time for Soarin! We were very excited! Posted wait time: 90 MINUTES!! We get out our Fast Passes and get our child swap pass. Dave, Hunter and I go first. While waiting we talked to the nice family in front of us. As they were assigning people their rows I see two Cms talking to a small group of people, most in
ECVs. The CM told them that they needed to make a decision because they were loading. Then I see that they have a golden retriever with them. Oh cool! We get to ride Soarin with a dog! We take our seats, I put my shoes in the underseat bag. Hunters seat doesnt have a between the leg loop on his seat belt so he has to move over and sit in the section with the other family. She makes sure he gets hooked in and we take off. We all loved this ride, but I would have loved it more if I hadnt been distracted by my visual of a Golden Retriever strapped into a seat with the wind blowing his fur! I thought if this dog starts barking Im gonna die laughing! Yes, Im easily amused. I also found it hard not to lift up my feet so they didnt drag in the ocean! Being barefoot must have heightened my senses. Neat ride. As we exited the dog waited obediently for his group and I gave him a little smile. We met up with my mom and I knew she would love it. Hunter definitely wanted to ride again which left us with one more pass. Dave had to use the restroom so I decided to skip a second ride and see if I could get Megan to go to sleep.
I took Megan over to an empty group of tables, but she didnt want to go to sleep. Living with the Land had no wait so I decide well ride that next. I see Dave up on the top level returning from the restroom. He gets on the escalator and is looking around for us. So do I wave, or go over to him? No, its funnier to watch him look around for us. Finally I see him get out his cell phone and call me. I answer and laugh, he doesnt think its funny. A group sits down next to us with some yummy smelling food so we get up and leave. Were getting very hungry, but our ADRs werent until 2:10. We go over to meet mom and Hunter and of course she loved it. We head on over to Living with the Land and hop in a boat. Megan was happy to be on another boat. Hunter didnt really care to ride the plant ride, but he did like it since it had some animals. My mom loves this ride since she is a huge plant person. I hope she gets to do the tour sometime. I think shed really enjoy it.
