Hi Guys

We’re stopping at Disney Beach Club next month with the dinning plan and love a breakfast buffet but not sure I could really stand a character breakfast EVERY morning at cape may lol. I know Captains Grill used to do an all you can eat buffet before it was temporarily relocated to its new home while the original restaurant is refurbished. Now when I look on Disney Go web site they don’t seem to show the all you can eat buffet option in the menu but allears.net that are normally excellent with their menus do?

Has anybody eaten here since it moved? Do they still do the all you can eat buffet and if so is it still a good use of a one dine credit on the dining plan for breakfast lovers like my family 

The official WDW website says "Note: the breakfast buffet will not be available during this relocation period. À la carte options will still be available."

I will be eating there in a couple of weeks and can confirm then but it looks to me like no breakfast buffet.

I agree. Disney has stated that the breakfast buffet for Captain's Grille will NOT be available while it is temporarily located at Ariel's at the Beach Club

Ha ok that’s a shame. We have Chef Mickey booked for our first breakfast and Cape May booked for out last. Any other good suggestions for a buffet breakfast non character on site Disney near Beach Club. Not sure my mum at 75 years old could cope with Mickey and friends every morning lol…..

Maybe 2 buffets is enough? You could just do the a la carte breakfasts the other days.
All the old people I know don't eat that much anyway, even for me a buffet every day would be a waste.

We dined at Captains Grille the last week of May and the buffet was NOT being offered and will not be during the location. The menu seemed a lot more limited than before as well. The food was probably the worst we had all week.. especially for the price. For about $10 more we could've ate breakfast at Cape May.

I know you said a non character breakfast, but we tried Garden Grill for the first time and it was great. It's AYCTE served family style. The character interaction was great.. they were so funny. Plus we were finished at 8:45 AM and were first in line for Soarin.

We've eaten ala carte at Captain's Grill & it was great both times. Buffets are pricier, anyway. We haven't eaten there since the renovations began, though.

Great suggestion. No getting up and down for the food, but yet plenty to eat.

They way the tables are , it doesn't seem as hectic to me.
