Hi --- I hope this is the forum to post this question...

Dh and I will be taking our girls, ages 7 & 13, to DW from May9th - 16th...

I would really like to go out to dinner with DH for 1 night by ourselves but from what I have read on DW's site the kid care is only up to age 12...is this correct???

Would that mean that basically we cannot do dinner alone or is there any other option available to us??? There is no way I would leave her in the hotel room alone or leave her to watch our 7yr old...you just never know what could happen...

Do the ID cards have the kids ages on them --- DH and i went to DW for our honeymoon 14yrs ago and i seem to remember having an ID card of some sort, maybe I am mistaken...but if there is one does it have their ages??? --- I only ask this because my 13yr old looks like she is 9 or 10...she is really really petite and nobody ever thinks she is over 10...

any suggestions???

thanks in advance...

While the child centers at the resorts usually say up to age 12, I'm pretty sure if you hire an "in room" sitter, they will watch the kids no matter how old they are. There are several, like "Fairy Godmothers" and "Kid's Night Out," but you can research babysitting in Orlando and I'm sure read a lot about different ones. That's what I'd do if I were you. The one time we had a babysitter come to the room, she was great! She had games and stuff for the kids -- they hardly missed us at all! Hope this helps and have a great time!

You can hire an in room sitter. The Kids Clubs are for ages 4-12 only, and quite honestly some of the 12yr olds are bored by them.My niece loved them as a younger child, but begged not to have to go back again after she turned 11.The ages at the Kids Clubs are not set by Disney , but by the state of Florida.Plus the Kids Clubs cost $12/ hr per child, so you would be paying $24 per hour.

okay, so in room babysitting is the way to go --- does anyone have any recommendations or is this info found at the disney hotel counter??? --- also, how much is the in room service and is there a minimum hour charged???

thanks!!!

There are 3 that I know of. Kids Nite out, All About Kids, and Fairy Godmothers. They all get great reviews they all are a minimum of 4 hrs and cost about $15-$17 per hr and that is for 2 kids. There are fees for cancellations etc.
