Now How many off the members have had problems with understanding the new site?

Now how many of those have actually asked to have their questions or concerns addressed?

How many members think that Disney Awards is Affiliated with Disney?

Now how many of those have read the Disclaimer?

How accomodating does a site have to be for its members to give it a chance?

How many other sites actually listen to it members?


I personally can not take any more of what I have received today. It is not my intention to quit on everyone but why should I bother if everyone is quiting on me. I am strongly considering backing out if this is how things are to remain. I will gladly give away promised prizes and have a drawing for the rest of the income. I spend 14+ hours a day on this and so far have nothing to show for except nasty emails and complaints that people do not address to the site.

Forgive me for spouting out but I just can't help it. If people are not interested then I do not wish to waste anyone's time.

you are absolutely right. Any concerns should be addressed directly to you. You did a great job on the new site and maybe we are all looking at it negatively. We should all give it a fair try and hopefully we will continue to enjoy the site. Thanks for venting. I know it helps sometimes, and I hope we will all address any new issues to you.

Kris, I am sorry to hear you had such a bad day! Nasty emails are not necessary
and I imagine it is hard not to take it personally given all the work you put into
the site. Thank you for working so hard to put the new one together and
for holding the chat this afternoon, I found it very helpful. I do think; however,
that you should give everyone a chance to sort through the changes. I too
found it very confusing and as I mentioned to you earlier today, it is quite time
consuming. Most of us do several reward programs and have very little extra
time to give. I think the biggest issue, is that you do the work of searching and you
"might" win a prize. Personally, I think the prizes are great and will continue
with the site and hope to be the lucky one, but I can certainly understand where
people are coming from when they say they don't want to work for nothing! It
is against human nature...LOL I am assuming that most of the emails you
received are from current members resigning as I only saw two posts on here
mentioning that....I read many posts from people wanting to know if they could
join...could you possibly reopen the registration? This is a rewards board and is
where we come to inform, warn, vent, etc. about the various programs. Please
don't take it as a personal insult to you, no one would like to see your program
work more than us! You have my full support !

Hang in there!!!! There are plenty of us out here who understand and appreciate what you are doing! DH and I have been there with our own website, so we know how hard it is to pour endless hours into trying to please people, and then get a bunch of negative e-mails. Please don't let it get you down -- not every site is for everybody -- but I hope people at least give yours a chance (more than 1 day!) before they bail. All rewards programs take some learning and getting used to. I figured out a routine to get my 22 searches and click-throughs done in just a few minutes. And I think it's great that you offer more *optional* ways to earn entries by helping out the site. Don't know if I'll have the time to do them myself, but at least they're there for those who can. Keep up the good work, and good luck with everything!

The email came from someone who I do not think even visited the site ever and came only to the email page and the email I can only say was beyond all nastiness. Think of the worse possible senerio and multply that times infinity and you still would not have any idea how much it hurts me.

Too many people think I am some sort of corporation or business but I am not. I am one person organizing things so that we can make the Dream of Disney possible.

I asked only one thing, that people read carefully and if they still have questions I am available and always have been.

Kris has done a great job in trying out something different. I'll admit i prefered it the old way, BUT we will all get used to it. Abusing someone for not likeing the concept is not right, you don;t like it you don;t do it!!!

How many sites offer hopper passes? Zilch really, and we all know how ex*****ve they are.

Give the site a go, or don;t go vback if you don;t like it.

You all here at this board have been very nice in letting me vent yesterday. I did want to make clear that this is the only Board I post at, no where else. I like everyone here even those who no longer wish to participate in the program. I only wish that those members would have at least taken a moment to speak with me as sometimes I do not make things clear enough to understand.

I also want to say that I know that the email that upset me so much did not come from anyone here. Most of the members here have been supportive even with their difference in opinion. I just felt that you all needed to know that I am grateful for all the help and support you give .

Keep up the great work. Your site is turing out wonderful and all of your hard work is making it so. All good sites are a continual work in progress and the people using it should be patient and understanding enough to realize such. Thanks!
