Disney at Christmas

Has anyone been to Disneyworld over christmas and new year?
Can you tell me how busy the parks are and is everywhere fully open over the holiday period?

The parks are very crowded,it is very special to visit though.Everything is open and operating during this time.If you go even with the crowds you will have a great time.WDW during the holidays is special and if you plan well you will manage fine.

Wonderful time to go but the word "crowded" doesn't describe the number of people. Weather is extremely iffy..................

The week between Christmas and New Years Day is the busiest week of the year at WDW. However, you can visit WDW the first few weeks in December and get all of the Christmas spirit, with about a tenth of the crowds.

I would suggest doing a search and reading the many posts about Disney at Christmas. This question gets asked almost daily, so there are many greats posts and threads already going about visiting at Christmastime. I think you will find many helpful tips, suggestions and dos and don'ts!

We did the week between Christmas and New Years in 2000. The weather was chilly and the crowds were enormous.

Since moving here, we have visited the parks at all times of year. We have not seen the parks that busy since. We haven't gone back during that week.

We are able to avoid the major Holidays and generally do so.

However, any day at WDW is going to be great.
