We are headed to Disney on from December 25th thru January 2nd... It is two families of 4 :yay:
Can anyone give me any information on Christmas at Disney?? Places that we need to see or visit?? Help I need all the ideas I can get..
THanks SO much :woohoo:

Oh yeah..

Gingerbread house, merry go 'round, osbourne, check the resorts out.. it is fantastic!

Osborne lights at HS, Candlelight processional at Epcot (we don't do the dinner, just stand in the back, it's still amazing), Castle lighting at MK, Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade at AK, and visit these resorts to see amazing decorations: Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Beach Club and Boardwalk. We'll be there Dec. 14-26!!:santa:

As said check out the resorts plus doing mid day gives you a break from the crowds. Also plan to pick which park you want to be at for New Years Eve as you could bet shut out, we went to the MK got there @ 9AM and never left till1AM long day but it was great, I tell everyone we spent New Years Eve @ the MK with 60,000 of our close friends.
Everyone tried to tell us we were crazy to go then but we loved it and would do it again. Our boys were age 17&13 so we chose MK over EPCOT just to stay away from the drinking.

We are taking our first Christmas trip so very interested as well. Thanks for posting.

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful at christmas:santa:
Decos are sooo amazing!!! Resorts decorated in their
christmas finest, its the most magical time to visit.
Be prepared for huge crowds, that is the only downside!!
ENJOY!!!:santa:

We spent Christmas/New Year at the world two years ago. It was truly amazing. I've dreamed of going at that time since I was a small child and it didn't disappoint. Sure the crowds were INSANE.. but for the most part they were a lot of fun. We were with a group of 12... and managed to have fun and do a lot of things.

We'll back from 12/20 - 1/4/11 this year and I can't wait! We're taking the Yuletide Magic tour and i'm very excited to see what goes into making the magic.

The biggest tip I can give is to be patient and have a plan/backup plan. Enjoy!!
