Disney at Christmas... perfect, Disney with friends...priceless! A December 2024 Susan and Caroline adventure! updated x 3 and complete 07/01!

I do love that breakfast. I haven't done it since the great pause. Maybe I have to add it back in to my rotation. I did have a moment of "what" when reading your post. I forgot you were our neighbor to the north and when you said it was 9 degrees, I spent a minute going back in my brain to try to remember Scotty complaining about it being THAT cold. Celsius, Stacy, 9 degrees Celsius.

It's such a great breakfast but VERY filling! Yes, 9 Celsius which is just a little chilly not cold. Now 9 degrees Farenheit would be COLD!

Great choice for breakfast. I have yet to do this, but it sounds like a good choice for the CP.

How was the watermelon? I love me some sweet juicy watermelon.

What else is there to say about them?
Well... you said "The potatoes were absolutely to die for, the eggs were Disney eggs"

To me that reads "Potatoes! Wow! So good! Amazing!... The eggs... meh."
Was just amused at the juxtaposition. :)
They were very yummy but maybe a little much after enjoying beverages the night before.

Garden Grill is my top 2 Disney breakfast spots. Topolinos being the other.
We had a wonderful breakfast. The food was all delicious and I wish I had more stomach space :rotfl:
The characters are wonderful to meet and I love slowly circling around LWTL

I was really full after this breakfast and did feel a tad uncomfortable 😣 needed to work it off or go take a rest 🤣

Breakfast looks tasty. Love all the festive photos with you ladies and the characters. Fun way to start the day and great use of the candlelight processional package. Visiting WDW at Christmas is on my bucket list We did it once in 1998 but I didn’t really “know WDW “ then. There’s so much more I want to do now that I know all that’s going on 🎄🎅

The potatoes were absolutely to die for, the eggs were Disney eggs, the steak was flavourful and tender and the Mickey waffles were great. We were very happy!
OOh, that all looks so yummy! We did GG breakfast in 2019 and loved it but haven't been back. Might be time for another visit!

Naturally I had to wear my Chip and Dale Christmas dress. Dale loved it!
Love the dress! Adorable pic!

Super cute, Caroline!

See - I'm originally from Minnesota so I am very used to temperatures that are 9 farenheit (or below. like WAY below.)
Brrrrrr!! You get weather like Manitoba. We are never that cold in the Toronto area.

Yummy!! I love good watermelon too. :)
To me that reads "Potatoes! Wow! So good! Amazing!... The eggs... meh."
Exactly! The eggs were passable but nothing special.

Me too! I definitely ate more than was good for me.

Yup! I walked it off and you had a rest. But you really needed that rest fighting off your icky cold.

I know! There is so much to see and do. The one good thing about taking this extended break from WDW is that there will be so many new things when I go back.

Sure… rub it in!

(As I sit here, in April, watching it snow…:sad2:)
Oh don’t worry….I jinxed myself saying that it and we got high winds and ice pellets along with a thunderstorm. Then freezing rain for the drive home. Fun times! Apparently it’s going to be 17 tomorrow!! We’ll see.

Same we are having a winter storm yuck 🤢 It is snowing and blowing. I keep telling it to go away and it is like a nasty rash sticking around 😅
Blech!! It’s never ending this year!

The perfect way to start our day after breakfast was Living with the Land of course!
We also had a LL reserved for it for the evening before our viewing of Candlelight Processional.

We booked Nemo as a bit of a throwaway ride and made sure to take a visit to see the manatees. Every time I'm there I always think about our first family trip when all Jack would say is "I'm looking forward to seeing the manatees!"

We headed around World Showcase next as we had a ride on Frozen booked. Fun as always and we got the front row!

We also got some super cute PP pictures but for the life of me I can't find our magic shots. Caroline, do you have it?

Sadly this was about the point where Caroline's cold reared it's head and made her feel tired and off. She opted to head back to the resort for a rest as we had dinner plans with Billie as well as the Candlelight Processional that night. She kindly gave me her magic band so I could ride Guardians twice. I hadn't really seen any of the Festival of the Holidays and wanted to catch some of the storytellers as well as Joyful and the Voices of Liberty.

Voices of Liberty did not disappoint and I headed out from there to get pictures by the tree in the American pavilion. The sun was out in full force by now and up to about 19 degrees which made for a very happy Susan!

I was curious about the gingerbread Spaceship Earth so headed in that direction next.
Such a work of art!

Heh.
They seriously overestimated how busy that ride was going to be when they built that massive queue.

:goodvibes
Awww... Two perfectly posed and poised princesses.

Sorry to hear that. :(

Oh! That thought wouldn't have occurred to me.

I'd love to see all of those some day.

They never do. :)

This is at least the third TR where I've heard of that. So cool!
