Anyone watching the Disneyland 60th special try downloading the Disney applause app? I got it to download, but nothing happens. Just keeps saying "listening for tv". Another great tech job Disney!

I'm watching it too. But I didn't bother trying the app. I'm usually not too good getting apps to function right off.

Even though I'm on the west coast I have SatTV and get east coast feed for ABC.
I'm wondering how the app will function when it shows west coast at 8pm PT????

Well I tried two iPads and four iPhones and no success. Disney has got to have the worst IT department. Much like when they came out with the magic band TOTAL TRAIN WRECK.

Not working on our Samsung phone either. The light up ears from Disney World are working though.

I'm using a Samsung Prevail LTE and I am too getting the "Listening for TV" thing. I tried having the phone right next to the TV set, nothing. Plugged an auxiliary audio cable (I'm in a commercial truck while watching this.....no, I'm not driving, the truck is parked at a truck stop), and it's still Listening for TV. The parks blog seemed to indicate the app should interract with ALL the major musical segments. Hopefully it'll work during the fireworks show? Edit: Nope, never changed. Always said Listening for TV. :-(

Saw another thread n the Community board, nobody there can get it to work either. Big surprise.

One has to wonder how much money they spent developing something that is now effectively useless since the show is over. Well it's still running on the west coast but the time for it to be available is over. Disney appears to have a pretty abysmal I.T. department.

My app says due to high volume some may high connectivity issue. Please try again later. Make sure to open app when watching with DVR.
Just need to say I am in Alaska so it almost over on west coast. So hopefully I should be able to get on. Should just be us and Hawaii left and all those dvr's.
