from the UK you'll need to purchase it on Disney's US site (or when you're there at the parks)

I don't know of any UK vendor selling APs.

The only way to buy APs is from Disney US direct either online or by phone.

If you don't mind a little bit of hassle (not really hassle but a little bit more effort) you could buy discounted MYW tickets from Undercovertourist and then upgrade them.

By buying the discounted tickets and using them once they will bridge the tickets to current gate price thereby giving a small discount on your AP.
