Hi. I am going to WDW in Feb 2010 and am just about to buy my tickets, but just had a thought about going again within the 12 month period and looked up prices for an annual pass. Also our holiday would be a lot less rushed.
I know it would save on parking fees at WDW and our holiday would be a lot less rushed.
Please cold you answer these questions.

1. I have seen the price of $499 can it be bought cheaper.
2. Would it be worth me buying them 3 adults and 1 child for going twice in a year.
3. Also is park hopping allowed on the tickets.
4. Do these passes have photos on and could I sell them on if I do not decide to go again within the year.

Thanks for any help

The price seems cheap, is this just for the parks and not the pass that gives you access to the water parks, disneyquest if you need these they are dearer.
Weigh up the cost of 2 14 day tickets and compare but if you only wantthe $499 then yes as a 14 day pass is £230ish at present.
Yes, park hopping is allowed.
No, there are no photo's but you are finger scanned on access so selling them on could be a problem and it is a no no anyway.

Also as well as the parking fees you also get 10% off the world of disney store and you also get 10-15% discounts on several eating places.
Hope this helps.

We have got a few trips from our Ap's this year. You can't sell them on but there is no photo on. We also added on the tables in Wonderland card it costs $70 but saves you 20% at a lot of TS restaurants

The AP you quote is just for the 4 parks, its the one we have had for the past 2 years, $499.49 incl tax, the premium AP with water parks and more is $637.94 incl tax. Can't be bought cheaper unless you are DVC members or know a cast member(we bought thru CM), that brings prices down to $392.99 & $504.81.
Twice in the year, dedends how many days you are expecting to do Disney within your 2 trips and if you want the water parks included. You need to compare the price of AP to buying UK tickets see Kenny's thread here http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2216106 or buying US MYW tickets somewhere like this https://www.orlandoattractions.com/tickets/ taking into acount any free parking and discounts with AP.
As Dizneemad & Jockey says you can't sell them, signed and fingerprinted, they do occasionally ask for ID to prove signature.
