As reported in today’s Orlando Sentinel, and confirmed on Disney’s web site, Disney has announced that effective June 1, the discount on food and beverages offered by the Tables in Wonderland card will be reduced from 20% to 10% - in line with other programs such as the discount provided to DVC members.
“There is strong demand for our restaurants,” a Disney spokesperson said in a statement. “We continually add unique dining offerings and experiences, and the Tables in Wonderland card continues to provide great value.”
Further, the complementary resort valet and theme park parking component is being discontinued. Finally, as of September 1, all Signature dining restaurants will no longer participate in Tables in Wonderland. A Disney spokesperson said these changes “are necessary in order to maintain the current low cost of purchasing the Tables in Wonderland card”.
