Disney Anniversary Magic & Drinking around the world

Two disney fanatics met fell in love and got married and had 3 wild and crazy boyz (who they begged relatives to watch for this trip, their first time alone in 7 years)

so off they went to EPCOT for 2 days -

We had a drink in (almost) every country in EPCOT

Black & Tan in Great Britan and then we went back the second night for a cider

Grand Marnier slushie in France - we also had a veggie quiche there

No drink but we had baklava in Morocco (we also did not have a drink or a snack in Canada or US)

In Japan we had plum wine and I ate the plum LOL (forgot to take pictures the whole first day - I only have a photo of the slushie in France because I text messaged a friend)

In Norway we had a Viking Coffee (baileys & coffee liquor) & a lefsne (potato bread rolled up with butter & cinnamon sugar) (first stop of the second day)

In China we had a peach schnapps and oolong tea slusie that was delicious

White wine and a pretzel in Germany (the pretzel was nothing special)

In Italy we had a pinot grigio chardonay blend.

On our way back to Future Wold we had a Fiesta Margarita in Mexico

Then we tasted sodas from around the world in the little coca cola shop.

DH tried on hats in almost every shop to show the boys

Our anniversay itself was filled with Disney Magic - when we checked in they gave us Happy Anniversary buttons to wear and *everyone* wished us happy anniversary all weekend long.

At Narcossees they wote "Happy 10th Anniversary Mr & Mrs. M" at the top of our menus

They made this picture out of fondant of Cinderalla & Prince Charming and Sleeping Beauty & Prince Phillip

It was edible of course!

On the way out of The Grand Floridian of course we had to try on the Mickey Bride and Groom Ears

At EPCOT the next day I posed in front of the Minnie Topiary

At Boma the morning we left the brought us a plate of cookies with mickey sprinkles and "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate

I love the pictures. It looks like you had a great time. We do the same things with hats. In fact I have a picture of me with the moose hat on my head from DH's and I most recent trip. It isn't a very faltering picture of me, that is for sure.

We also had the, picture of him, picture of me thing going. We didn't take as many pictures this trip because face it, we just are not as cute as the kids to take pictures of.

You guys look very happy (and carefree!)

LOL. I am sure all the refreshments didn't help!

Come to think of it I think I have a pictue of each and everyone of those hats over the past few trips. Most are on DD and they look much cuter on her. We have one with her and her best friend with the mexican hats on, the picture is mostly hats.!

about the liquid refreshments - I very specifically did NOT want to be drunk or even feel tipsy/ out of control so we split EPCOT into two days and split all the drinks, which were small to begin with. there were a few that were not small and we felt under no obligation to finish them....

See even with out the kids you were responsible! How to drink around the world like a minivanmama!

I don't drink really, but was considering a fruity one on our trip. Still with the cold we both had, I just didn't feel up to it.

Thanks for sharing! DH and I are taking our boys for a trip to our new DVC this summer. A couple of weeks before our 20th anniversary. Time flies and all...
