Steph, I always have tons of boneless chicken breasts in my freezer, I stock up when it goes on sale. One of my favorite things to make is Chicken Marsala with mushrooms. It's easy and delicious!!

SB, I have a birthday this month too. I didn't ask DH for a CD, I made it easy and just asked for Cash$$.

Melissa, DD loved the idea of the groomsmen's flower matching the color of the dresses! She's going to go with that!

I'm busy with my Creative Memories Party tonight! Wish it would quit pouring!

Glad I could help with the wedding plans. Wish I had a picture to show, but I was just a guest. In fact, I can't actually remember whose wedding it was, but I thought it was very pretty. Just be careful when you order the flowers. Some florists do the garish dye that makes the flowers look like they'd glow in the dark. If I remember correctly, these were all natural colors like pale yellow, pink, peach, lavendar, etc. If they have to dye the flowers be sure to tell them you want them PASTEL like the dresses!

MAJOR storm damage in Cranberry tonight, but we are safe. We have been watching the news and we can see one of the news helicopters hovering around our neighborhood. I think there have been a few minor injuries, but nothing serious so far. I just called one of the families whose dad is chaperoning Logan's field trip. Cell phone service is down in our area so they haven't been able to reach him. The mom thinks they are far enough away that they haven't been affected. I'm sure Logan is ok, but please say a little prayer for him.

Marsha, I have PotC as well... I love it. Clay likes older styles of music (like John Secada) and it shows in his songs.

LK, we've had some terrible storms blow through as well. MY prayers are with Logan and all with him.

I got my haircut today... between the massaging shampoo and the way he brushed my hair, I am happy and very relaxed!!!

Quick update - the chaperone got in touch with his wife and everyone is fine. They had a severe thunderstorm, but that's all. I just spent some time contacting some other families in the class.

Is the PotC CD wonderful? I better add that to Amy's Christmas list. I bet she'd think that was a terrific gift! I was planning to give her the DVD, but her dad has already promised he'd get it the first day it was available. Actually, I'll be happy to watch it too.

I talked to Allen earlier and told him the news. His talk today went well. He said he's done some serious networking. It remains to be seen if it will do us any good. He met a guy today who is high up in I2. He used to live in Norman and knew my dad years ago. He asked for Allen's card and wrote on the back that he was Dad's SIL. That might come in handy someday. Thank you Daddy!

Allen gets home tomorrow night. I still don't know when the funeral is. My brother offered to drive me up there if I want to go to Kansas City via Tulsa. It all depends on when it is and if the rest of the family is going with me or not.

Right now, David feels bad so it might be better to leave him behind. And he is supposed to march at the football game Thursday night. The Scouts have a campout planned for Friday night. I was staying home from the campout to take care of the pets. It's all too complicated for me to sort it out right now.

Mom is flying to Kansas City late tonight. I guess she'll update me tonight or tomorrow as to a timeline. Maybe then I can decide what I should do.

E, I love getting a good haircut. It makes me feel so good.

I take it the sox lost? I'm sorry. I'd like to see them go to the series and have them play the Cubs. Actually, I'd rather see the Royals, but oh well.

LOL Merry, I couldn't wait until Christmas for Pirates as well! I have to decide when/where I'll get it since I'll be at WDW when released. I am sure she'll love the CD! ANd more {{hugs}} for you all.

Still have yet to see POTC since DD and DS were too sleepy to stay at the drive-in.

E - I need a haircut real bad. My girlfriend who does it just had a baby on October 3rd and probably will take a month off. This is what I am going to look like soon -

I can't remember exactly why your DH went to Orlando but my friend went with her DH, he had a show to do for work......could it be the same thing?

My allergies have been really bad today! Claritin isn't even doing the job for me, I spent most of the afternoon napping so now I'm AWAKE

Lars, Allen went to Orlando to an I2 conference. He presented a paper there. He is losing his job in the spring because they are closing his plant, so we decided to do this as another chance to network. Work wouldn't pay his way, so we paid for his trip. It's a gamble, but one we felt we should take. He is staying at Coronado Springs. Wouldn't that be too weird if your friends and my husband met at this thing? I forgot to post that he would be at WDW on the rest of the boards. I got to thinking today that he might have met several DISers and not even know it.

If you start a support group, E, better sign up my daughter. She is pirates obsessed. I'm guessing that she'll watch it non-stop over winter break. That's one of the reasons we are getting her her own DVD player for her room. But shhhh, don't tell her I said that.

I'm waiting up for a phone call from my mother. She is supposed to call me from KC when she's talked to Ann and is settled in. She didn't know when she left if Ann would prefer she stay there with her or go to my aunt and uncle's house. I'm betting she'll stay with Ann. Anyway, she wanted to let me know the latest. We had so many questions that haven't been answered in the two brief calls we've had. But enough. I've been a downer today. Bet you guys are dreading my posts.

Gail sent me the Girl Scout songs. DD and I sang them all, well at least the ones that we knew the tunes. I will look for some of mine one of these days and share them. Aren't camp songs great?
