Morning,
Just got a call from FIL...he fell again. Paramedics came and got him off the floor. Not sure if they wanted to take him to the hospital but he's still home so he may have refused. This is what we feared most, they'd be down there in alone and they'd need help. Not sure what's going to happen in next days or weeks but ultimately we have to get them back to RI.

Gail {{{hugs}}} for you. So sorry to hear about your FIL falling again. I hope you don't have too much difficulty relocating them to RI to be with you.

But on the bright side, Gail, congrats to the Red Sox!!! I was watching a little bit of the game last night. I hope the two players that smacked heads are okay. That was horrible to watch that. And what an idiot those guys were in the stands yelling at the Sox to come and fight them.

Gail - so sorry to hear about your FIL. sometimes it is best when they are close by especially in their later years. GO SOX!!!! I was watching the game, I was wondering if your DH was going crazy, and hoping my boy Scott Sauerbeck would come in and close it out. Glad to see it didn't get to that point though. I would be crushed if I were an A's fan. To get so close. Oh well.

Get well soon to EB and Amy. Sarah came home early yesterday with a sore throat and stuffy nose. Went right to sleep for a few hours then got up to go to band practice. She knew to stay until 1:15 so it would count as a full day of school.

Gail, I hope you don't have a fight getting them to come back, sometimes being dependant is so hard on our elderly parents.

OK, health news, I have an 8am with the PA today. I hope to get orders for either IVP or CT. (IVP is dye xray especially for kidneys), I have not passed the stone, and the longer it is taking, the more it seems to be appendicitus, not KS, but I will get some answers today.

I hope Diane is feeling better, too. They really need to get a firm diagnosis.

What else? I don't follow baseball, but right now my father must be hppy in heaven with the Red Sox winning. He never followed anything in sports, except the Red Sox.

Get the kids feeling better, moms.

I'll report after the PA appoinment.

Carol, I think the Trading Spaces episode they filmed at PNC Park was done on RiddleCon weekend. They did have a small autograph session for some of the people at work with Paige, Rick Rifle, and Edward.

Tonight we have our Scout Pack/Troop meeting. This year we are doing a holiday wreath sale. DH took on the wreath sale chairman job, so we have to go to both meetings this month to kick it off. It'll be a long evening. Next month all the wreaths will be delivered to my house. Won't that be special?

With a perscription for Troedol, and orders for a C/T scan tomorrow at 6:30 am. THey did blood work and pee in the bottle while I was there, of course the pee test is ALWAYS clear, but the blood work will show any infection that would point away from KS. So we will see what that says. And I got a call from one of my recruiters, he had a job possibility for me, wonder if I'll get an interview? And that's about it.

Merry, your house will smell wonderful. I remember that someone's HS band sold wreaths and Swags when we lived in VA, I bought them a few times. We can't get them here, they don't last in the heat. Same with real trees, but people still buy them.

Krispy Kreme alert, flavor of the month is Pumpin Pie, it's a glazed cake doughnut. You Dunkin fans may like it. I like KK raised, but I love Dunkin cake. Of course, I am limited to 2 doughnuts every 6 months or so, and I had my share Saturday.

The skies are getting very gray, we may actually get a sprinkle or two. I think I will go sit on the patio and watch.

Melissa, greens are better than popcorn. When I was popcorn chairperson, the smell almost made me sick.
