It's been a rocky day for me. Had a horrible headache all night last night. I'm prone to migranes and have them about once a month. So I didn't sleep well last night. Today my head no longer hurts, but I'm a little loopy.
Amy and David are both feeling much better. Now Allen is congested and has a scratchy throat. I keep praying that they'll all stay away from me. LOL!
Cross your fingers that Allen gets better quick. He leaves for WDW for an IT conference on Sunday. I don't get to go this time. We just didn't think we should spend the money, since we are still hoping to go on another
Disney cruise in March. I'm just hoping he'll make a few contacts so that when we lose our job maybe something will turn up.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Marsha. Don't overdo it before you go to the doctor. Did your son arrive safely? Next time someone is sick, should we just call Dr. Marsha? You seem to have a handle on what is going on.
By the way, I enjoyed reading your medical history. You made a miraculous recovery. I like reading success stories like that. My FIL no longer qualifies for therapy under their insurance. He had his stroke several years ago. Several therapists have opened a center where they volunteer their time in the evening for people who can benefit from therapy but don't qualify. They have even had patients as young as my kids who have been in a wreck or had a stroke. The people pay if they can, but it's not required. The money goes to rent the facility, etc. Anyway, David is going to put up a huge awning (so patients won't get wet coming in when it's raining) and build a "walk box" for the center as his Eagle project. He hasn't jumped through hoops to get it okayed yet, but it looks promising. It's a cool place with big-hearted people. Just thought you guys might like to hear about it.
We only have 2 days of school next week. I'm glad. We can all use the break. Maybe we can get some things done around here. Do any of you get a fall break?
