Golly Gosh Gaspode!!!! I totally spaced out about the Autumn Angel Exchange. I volunteered to do it, and since my job hunt is managable, I will do it.

Angels only, unless their kids want to also, (so it doesn't need to go into the exchange index), price limit $20.00. Autum inspired gifts (hot chocolate mix, apple scented candles, etc.) Sign up by 10/15, mail out by 10/30. PM me name. address, etc. (I do have it really! Somewhere)

Alan, the other ladies may wear flannel or sweats and t shirts, but I am a firm believer in the Victoria Secret way of lingere. At my age, you go for looks! And I do know DH was just trying to help, sometimes he is a little toooooo helpful. Male bash? Me? I had major computer troubles so I actually got a new one today!!!! Well not new, but new enough for me!

Oh, I forgot to say, I am having a kidney stone attack, it just started, and it hurts like heck So I am going to get some painm pills and wait it out. Gee, I hate when this happens! But this is a first, it usually happens on the weekend when the dr is closed.

Glad to hear the exchange will be running, will we be given any more ideas as to what to put? $20 is quite a bit of money really, I need to think of plenty of things!! It'll be fun!!

Merry - Forgive me I had forgotten to say just how awful I feel for your friend Jennifer ... That's really terrible, but I'm sending prayers and PD for both her and her new baby and hope everything works out for the better!

Melissa (MP) - What a sad situation for the new mom. I have a good friend who's son just returned from a deployment in the Middle East and he also learned his marriage was over. They have no children but it's still hard for him.

It was chilly this morning so I dug out my WDW sweatshirt and I was feeling kind of sad that warm weather is about over.....and I wanted to do something to cheer up....so I made ressies for our trip to the World next summer!!!

I took the kids to Subway for dinner. DD was driving her car. We were stopped at a stop sign to leave the parking lot and the mini van behind us ran right into us. No damage to either car but it shook us up.

Cool and drizzly here today. Time to do like my tag and get in a nice warm bed.

Winter???? Please explain that to me! LOL Nope, already got sign ups for Autumn. Besides, there will be a HUGE ornament exchange starting in November, and I think Meriweather is going to do a winer yankee candle one, too. So our little group can stick with autumn. But no one needs to feel obligated to participate, either.

had a scare this afternoon when I went to feed the bunnies....one was MISSING.......she apparently wiggled her way out of the door (I THINK someone didn't latch the bottom latch....there's one on the top and bottom) and she "bo-peep" was gone!!!!! my heart was in my throat...AJ would have been soooo upset!!!! well, anyways...the dog (HUNNY-bunny) was out back carrying on, so I checked on her...there about 10 feet into the woods, was Bo-Peep....Hunny found her...she was wet and cold (bo-peep) and happy to be caught......I brought her in and fed her and Hunny spent the afternoon following her around, and checking to make sure she was okay...

guess that's all for now...I'm heading to bed.....see you all in the morning....math riddle day tomorrow!!!

I bet your heart stopped when you saw a bunny was missing. Glad it turned out okay.

I'm going to look at my calendar before I sign up for the exchange. I need to see what I have on my plate the next few weeks, but it sounds fun. I'm also pondering autumn ideas.

Get the child a puppy! I'd lone you one of mine, but you'd be better off getting one of your own. I always felt the same way about animal shelters, but we went there to get a kitty a few years ago. There was no doubt in our minds when he picked us out. We didn't have to choose.

Woo hoo! Ressies for WDW! I'm jealous now.

DS and DD are both catching colds. Great! That means I'm probably next.

Tomorrow night is the homecoming parade. DS marches in it and plays at the pep rally following the parade. Guess I'll be the good band mom and take my camera.

I'll check in tomorrow. Want to get an early start on the math riddle before I head to the hospital.

And Alan are you enjoying my pink nighty? I'm sure it looks better in your mind than it does on me. LOL! I figure we have to keep our one fellow happy, right? uckerup:

Late update. No the stones have not passed, it usually takes anywhere from 8 to 56 hours. You just never know. I won't go into the gory details. Suffice it to say, the pain pills help, especially Toredol, meant specifially for KS pain, but I was drifting off, and DH came to bed, then a sharp pain, now I am awake.

Stephanie, give that doggy a treat for finding the bunny. I would have been frantic, too.

Merry Poppins, no colds for you! Tell those kids to wash their hands, and don't let them cook or do the dishes till they are well. But after that, double duty! And keep those good thoughts for tomorrw, just think, on;y 6 more after this one, and then maybe back to yearly? And no more tomoxifan? THe hot flash creator, a friend of mine says it's not a hot flash, it's your own personal summer.

Off to see what else is going on. And hopefully get sleepy again.

OMG Steph you must have been freaking out when the bunny wasn't in the age..........remind me to tell you about my 3 y/o DD trying to wake up her brother's bunny one morning...."Mommy Mommy Carrot Eater is sleeping & he won't wake up!!!"

Tamoxifan......I have 2 friends who take it & they both say the hot flashes are a pain but that the fact that it's taken away their monthly visitor helps make the hot flashes bearable!

Toredol is one of the meds that my friend was on when she was hospitalized. They gave her IV pain meds that gave her an immediate headache so they gave her IV Toredol to help the bad headache,

Carol-I'm glad no one was hurt in your fender bender.
