Wow. Laura had a busy day! Isn't fall scheduling wild after having the summer off?

I had a nice day today. I got my hair cut. Made the week's menu. Got the grocery shopping done. Washed a load of towels and a load of clothes.

I also sorted one area of our bedroom. We have some piles that need to be delt with in there. Some is going in the trash and some to goodwill. Then I'll decide where to put the rest of it.

The kids both had homework tonight. Guess we're getting into the swing of school if they're giving homework to everyone.

Melissa, I still have my fingers crossed for you.

M65, sounds like a great group of kids you have. I'm glad they day went well for you.

Alan, wish we could hear the Mrs. sing. She must be amazing! I can't carry a tune in a bucket when I'm healthy. When I've been sick I'm sure I sound like a bullfrog.

Time to head to bed if I'm to get up at 5:30. Yuck. Calgon take me away.

Speaking of piles in the bedroom... No piles here, but I do have to get at sorting stuff I have set aside for a garage sale so I can get rid of some of this stuff in preparation for moving.

Lars, you are busy taxing kids around, and all I do is go to doctor appointments! Two yesterday, one today two tomorrow and on and on....

I've got a larsish day ahead of me......DH leaving for VA tonight, and of course that means I am doing the honey-do stuff today.

run to two separate banks
get new tires on my truck
extra school supplies that DS *NEEDS*
buy tap shoes for Meg
stop at the grocery store to get the things I forgot Sunday
go to the bread store
and I'm sure there is something else in that mix.....

Another rainy day here in the burg!

Lk, I remember now where your IL's cottage is. For some reason I was thinking you were at a lake. Btw, Sept. 13th is the Big craft show at Latonka!

Lars, All that dropping off and picking up, I remember it well.
And ice hockey was the worst, especially the hours!
Sometimes you wonder how you'll ever get thru it all.

My middle DS won 2nd place in the backgammon tournament in Indianapolis! He got a pretty good chunk of change!

Lars, when I had days like that with driving, and usually some other kids thrown into it too with a carpool, I was always afraid that I would forget and leave a kid somewhere.

I think the Angels would be a great backup group. Now if someone could only come up with a costume?!?

LOL, Breezy! I think that's why I only had two kids and had them 6 years apart!

A definative diagnosis would be nice, Elaine! I suspect it will be awhile, if ever for that. This does all seem to be from the virus I had back at the beginning of July, but they can't tell me if it will get better, and they have no treatment for me yet.

I add ballet to the mix of after school activities today. Not for me, but for Amy. LOL! Still have piano, pointe, botball and Girl Scouts to add in the next few weeks. Thank goodness David is driving himself to school and the pool.

Tell him we said congratulations, Sandi. That's cool! I love to play, but I'm not very good.

Diane, hang in there. I still have hope that they'll figure out what it was. This latest doctor sounded good. I really believe in positive thinking and the angels are sure pulling for you.

The rain has moved on and today should be a nice day. The temperatures will be in the 80's. I'm a happy camper! Guess you guys to my east are getting pounded with the storm we had this weekend. My advice is take your umbrella. Have a great day!
