Well, the weather is much better now. Lots of rain and lightening this morning. Our power went out for a couple of minutes.
Shep - hope everything went well today for your DD.
LK - nice shirt on Logan! (Did anyone notice the Marshal star on it? That is what my DH is).
No crying here for me this year. Although it is weird having my DS be gone all day instead of half a day.
Marsha - are you ever coming back?

Things have slowed down here on the house front... only two calls today and neither made an appointment to look around but a few ppl have taken a look at the web site so that's got to be good news! I'll keep you posted!

Glad Mandy's day went well Todd!!!
I can relate to the difficulty in finding out what happened in school....especially with Matt who will now be a cool 6th-grader. The best suggestion I can offer is ask specific questions rather than open-ended ones like how was your day. Once you learn what they do in a typical day that will help. We were lucky enough for EB to have a teacher who used a website to keep us parents up to speed on what they were doing.
Hope all the other school days went well, we start tomorrow. Steph - have you had any feedback from Patrick on the portable classroom?

Evening all... busy day here. I had to get new shampoo because they discontinued my old type I know big deal... but as my hair gets longer what I use makes a world of difference. So I just tried this new stuff, same make but different type. It is Back to Basics Ginger... my hair is sooo soft!!! Combine it with my BioSilk Silk Therapy I use and I think I have a winning combination
We also closed on our refinancing today. I get a month off from mortgage payments and saving about $170/month. Mostly becuase we were able to get rid of the money stealing PMI!!!

Between storms and this stinking internet service I haven't been able to get on AGAIN today. I'm not going to even try to respond to everyone. Anyway, I'm back on now. At least for a minute before I head to bed.
Sounds like back-to-school has been a good experience so far. Keep letting us know how things are going. I'm remembering all our kiddos in my prayers. Fall is a lot of fun, but it can be stressful too. Getting to know new teachers and new kids.
Hope the new PT can help you Elaine. Are you remembering to do your excercises? Don't I sound like a mother? It's not bad that he doesn't hurt your eyes. Hmmm, new shampoo does sound suspicious to me.
Two of David's best friends started dating last week. They broke up today and he's caught in the middle of a mess. Keep your fingers crossed that they can be big enough to stay friends so the other kids in the group don't have to choose. Isn't being a teen tough?
Still no word on if we have to start getting up in time to get David to school by 5:30. I'm hoping that was simply a cruel joke. I'm already getting up at 5:30 so he can be at school by 7:00 and I am NOT a morning person. You don't know how tempted I am to crawl back into my bed at 9:00 after I've dropped Amy off.
Have a good night and I'll check in tomorrow. At least, I'll try if I have internet service.
