A neighbor is going to WDW between Christmas and New Years. Anyway, I told her to call and find out if she could get AAA applied to her room. (CBR) rack rate! Now here is the good part (not!). The CM told her she needed to give her the AAA number. She said she did not have it handy. The CM told her that she could check to see if there was a AAA discount for her dates, etc, but that without her AAA number she could not give her the rate!

I made my reservation and then called back to see if AAA could be applied she said fine, just make sure that I called sometime before arrival to give them my number. She never told me I couldn't get the discount!!

Has this happened to anyone else?

Is this a case of call back again, get a different answer?

P.S.
She finally told her there were no discounts available for AAA on her room.

What should she try now?

I've called 3 times asking for rates now for a trip in Jan. I just mentioned that i had a AAA card and they gave me the rate. Never asked me to give them #.

I called for the AAA rate yesterday, they gave me the rates without the membership # but asked for it when setting up the reservation. 20% off CBR 10/1 to 10/6.

I got the AAA dsicount for POR 4/7/- 4/15.. We had to give our number when we made the ressie

I just called the other night and got the AAA rate without giving my number. When I did change my current reservation to the AAA rate I asked if I needed to show my card at check in or what. The CM laughed and said Oops! I need that number to enter it in the system. I think they are easil confused at CRO!

I called a few weeks ago to get the AAA discount applied to my ressie. I didn't have my card since I just sent in the paperwork. The CM said that was fine, to just make sure to show my card at check in. I got my modified confirmation yesterday that shows the AAA rate and says at the bottom that you must present card at check in. From all the different reponses, it sounds like it just depends on who you talk to when you call.:)

When I made our AAA reservation for WL they required our AAA number to book it.

When I made my ressie last week, I was told I had to give them the AAA number to get booked with the discount.

When I called to inquire about the AAA rates, I did not need my membership number. But when I called back to make the reservation they did ask for the membership number:bounce: :bounce:
