If you're there for a few days and don't mind missing the fireworks one night, the photopass photographer by the main station is generally still there and you can get some great shots with fireworks shooting up over the train station.
Wow... I cant believe I didn't know this but I had no idea that the Jungle Cruise was open at night. I have always just assumed that it was closed because it would be too dark to see anything. That is crazy to me that I did not know this. I am never in that area of the park at night time. I will have to make a point of going on it at night time next trip!
It doesn't get dark until 8pm when we'll be there and that's pushing the limits for bedtime, darn it. We'll do WOC and F!but two late nights will be all we can handle. We're EMH people but we can't do both.
So if you could squeeze in one ride before WOC and F!, which would it be? RSR and Indiana Jones?
This has always been my favorite. It's been a while since I've been, but last time Frontierland was more or less empty at this time which made it even more fun.
Dinner at Flo's (with a view of RSR going round the track, and Carsland all lit up) is magical & is now a must-do on every trip for me.
Edited to add: if you go during the holidays, try to time a ride on it's a small world so that you get on the boat just before sunset...that way, when you emerge, the facade and the landscape will be lit up. It'll take some advance planning, but is SO worth it!!
