Disney Adventure Planning Thread

So, I am trying to figure out what stateroom to pick… I know we want an Inside Deluxe. We are fine with insides, especially for 4 nights. I kind of like the location of the midship deck 9 to bed with the middle hallway as they see to have quick and easy access to both elevator lobbies 9955-9975). But then I am worried that above this will be the Imagination Garden and we might have people trampling on our ceiling. What would you do? Should I rather pick one of the insides on the outer hallways (still central, but a bit less convenient to elevator, 9609-9681, 9301-9381)? These have staterooms above them. What would you do?
We're in 9937 in February. I can let you know how it is by mid February.

Im in 9975 (also mid Feb sailing). But im sure there will be reports after the maiden voyage

I saw them in this Instagram post:

Looks like the menus will be adapted to be more local. I am really excited about the new food options!
Has anybody seen this somewhere other than Instagram? I don’t have any Meta accounts and it’s not loading here. :/

I did get a little (but not much!) more info from the Concierge team:

For the Mike & Sully’s restaurants, Teppenyaki will be open for lunch but the rest are dinner only.

Palo will have brunch, dinner, and prima notte.

Per the concierge, the Pixar restaurants are in some of the dinner rotation sets. If the info she provided is correct, not everybody will have a rotation in the summer (Princess movie) themed restaurant.

The Royal Society for Friendship and Tea will be available days 2 and 3 of my 4 night sailing, as in the U.S. you must have a child age 3-12 to participate.

It appears the (Marvel-themed) attractions will only be available for booking once onboard. If that holds true, an early PAT will be especially helpful.

Thank you so so much. While scouring the internet for non-Insta based sources, I came across this article, which has a lot more information than the release that went out on social media: https://hospibuz.com/travel-hot-top...rves-up-bold-flavors-on-the-high-seas-9683065 (caveat, I have NO IDEA how credible this source is)-- it looks like there will be a vaguely Aladdin themed coffee shop and a Beauty and the Beast tea shop with tea service (treats) to go? 😍😍😍

Great find! It actually reads as if they just published DCL‘s press release, so seems likely very accurate.

I am sorry about the Instagram link. Next time I will do as @Amunet smartly did. I didn’t know that you need an account for it.

No need to apologize at all. Sometimes the instagram videos will play while embedded and sometimes they don’t, I can never figure out why!

Oh the tea!!! I love tea. It confirmed the boba tea is not free, so im definitely going to be reading all the maiden voyage reports so I can budget for buying all the bubble tea! Lol
Im quite interested in the Beauty and the Beast tea room and takeaway experience.

Got an email from DCL concierge desk about our January 5th sailing. Letting us know they can take requests to book reservations starting midnight on August 28th.
Not much in the email though. Listed the same stuff as the other DCL lines minus the cabanas and added the new restaurants and tea. I was hoping for more unique character meet and greets but only one listed was the Royal Gathering for a reservation.
They ended the email saying to respond to the correct concierge team. There is one for most DCL cruises and one for cruises from Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
We are only requesting private table for 2 for dining (actually already requested) and any character meet ups. We don’t want any of the specialty restaurants or spa stuff this cruise. Just want to enjoy the ship.

Do you have to request character meet and greets and Royal Gathering from the concierge now? For some reason, I thought the concierge perk was private M&Gs at various times on the cruise, not pre booking specific events.

They just allow you to reserve it. I hope there is a private meet and greet as well :)
