Disney ABC and General Disney Pages- Completed!

Do you think I should move it in closer to the title?

I am going to triple mat it like z2h and morgansmom2000 suggested, but I am going to make the 3rd layer little more wider than normal I think and see how that looks.

You could put it partially on the title to tie it in with the words.

Okay ladies with all your suggestions this is what I worked on and came up with>>>>

I put another mat on the "V" and moved it onto the title. I left the pattern paper as it seems everyone liked it that way.If you prefers it will be easy to remove the top pattern paper and then a lime green bling will show with the the orange matting, if someone does not like all the busy of the page. I also popped up the "V" so it would stand out a little more. This one has taken me about a week to get cut and start assembling. So what do you think? Better? Anything else I should try out or redo? Keep the pattern paper on the "V" now that you have a better look at the page? Not to busy with it? I know there are a lot of simple scrappers out there so I dont want to overwhelm it. I tend to always put a lot on a page.

I think that works- I saw the V and connected it to the words immeadiately.

I know exactly what you mean! I do the same thing... I've been trying to be better about it lately though.

And I think that looks awesome! It's surprising what a half-inch or so can do. I think the patterned paper is still fine, and popping it was a great idea - I am so excited to get these pages, but it seems a shame to cover them up with pictures...

Thanks ladies for helping me with my "V" page. I will leave it like the last post. I am still torn with using the pattern paper that is on the "V", but everyone who helped out seemed to like it, so I figure those who may not it is easy to carefully take the top layer off.

Okay so I have my next group 3- Animal Kingdom spot. I got the protype done last night and have two different versions so let me know which you all prefer. The only difference between the two is the bottom middle square. Also the title is only 7 1/2 inches long, but I had to shorten it so the journal box would fit in. Hope that is okay. The characters on the title and journal box have been crystal lacquered and pop dotted. Nothing is adhered down so if it looks sideways probably is...lol. I am going to attach the ribbon to the photo mat with brown snaps. Oh yeah I finally got to use my coordination paper on the title and two of the mats at the bottom. I like that paper... fun. Thanks again....

I love the pattern paper on the V. I am not in the AK group but I LOVE that too. Great job on both pages.

Nemomom -- great AK page! I am in that group - -I like it both ways. Hmmm, I like it with the LK guys better.

I FINALLY finished cutting and matting all of those little photos for my World Showcase page -- 12 photos x 14 pages x 2 for mats = 336. Really what was I thinking? :rotfl2: I have the tags & mats inked, but they need to be assembled and then the whole thing adhered.

Thanks Susan for the compliment. I think I am going to just put the jolees in a bag and attach to the page so those in that group can choose what they prefer.

336!! You're a nut, and I so appreciate it...But, isn't it 13 pages? Just checking cuz I only have enough paper for 13!

Checking in, still trying to come up with ideas. I was supposed to do that on the way to Kansas but got sidetracked with the drama. I was too wound to relax and think, pulling a 20 foot trailer is not fun! It's very stressful. Anyway, I am back, my house is almost in order, and I'm ready to go.

Rebecca, I am getting ready to email Nancy with our seating list. do you want me to put you with me and Lisa so you have room to spread out when we sort, or we could possibly use one of the conference rooms like the Groovy Chicks did when they had a swap.

My mom and I are in Panama City Beach for the next almost 3 weeks. We have started in these and brought some of the stuff with us to work on.

I would love to be with you and Lisa but I figure I will probably actually sort in my room unless I can use a conference room or maybe the cutting area.
