Disney ABC and General Disney Pages- Completed!

Bumping up for our first check in date-

I have my paper but I have some other things to finish before I work on these. I will be checking for everyone's address on Monday and Tuesday and sending mine out at that time.

Rebecca

Paper and more supplies bought. Played enough with SCAL to successfully learn how to weld letters and cut. Should be all set to begin the page crafting.

Groups 3,4,5 are done and bagged and labeled

Group N is complete, bagged and labeld

Group W -- prototype posted, all of the titles have been assembled, mats cut and inked, top layer of tag cut and inked, need to cut the bottom layer, all of the little photos cut, about 1/10th of them matted. I still have to figure out if I can reasonably adhere all of this to the glitter paper. If not then it will be silver metallic paper and I will need to go buy it.

I have started working on my "P". Spent like 3 hrs trying to weld my title, but I could not get it to work right, so I may try again or just cut it like I have it in DS. I have cut out some of my elements and working on how I want to set the page up. I have my supplies for my other groups, but looks like I may need to order some more paper, because I changed some things around.

I am checking in for Stitch62 and myself. I have to finish Epcot and then on to this. We leave for the beach in July for almost 3 weeks and hope to post prototypes before we leave.

Checking in. Need to get my swap out the door and then I can work on this one.

Okay I got my "P" mapped out and have cut the basics out so I could post a protype out. I would like to know what you guys like best before I proceed to finish the cutting and putting them together. I will go with the majority, because I just can not decide what I like better:confused3:

Here is Option 1:

Here are my questions:

What Option layout do you like best?

With the journal area do you like it best left blank inside or with the little wiggly lines drawn around it? Also I have thought about stamping straight lines.. do you like that idea better?

I still need to embellish the photo mat, most likely ribbon. Also the film strip I only glued down half of it, so you can slide your photos underneath the 4 areas . You should be able to get a 2x3 photo or vis versa depending on the ending layout design. I may use tiny small black brads to pin it down so it will stay a little more secure. Also my "favorites" was so hard to get to cut out, hopefully I will get them to cut nice, I probably will ditch using the shadow. I dont think it will look nice plus it will add more emphasis to the "Photo" my main word. Okay I think that is it... Give me your opinions and what you like best. Thanks ladies.

Shawn

ps... I have not glued anything down. Thats why it looks uneven.

Shawn, I love them both! But, if I had to choose, I'd say the filmstrip along the right and the squiggly lines on the journaling block. Awesome! :thumbsup2

Oh my!!! I LOVE this!!!! It is a great topic too. I know why you are having such a hard time deciding --it is great either way.

Journal box (great idea): First, it really won't matter to me either way, but my preference is no lines -- I would rather control my writing size to fit the space, rather than have to adjust my sentences to fit the space. The doodling lines are cute. I would leave that to the end and see what kind of time I had.

Orientation: so hard! I want to say either one, but I guess you are really asking for us to decide so....if you go with the 2nd option, goofy is your embellishment for the mat and you save yourself a step. Option 2 is my vote -- I have way more vertical photos.

Aww, that's adorable! I like Option 1 more, with no preference as to the lines or no lines. The lines do look cute though, so I'll be happy either way.

Your page looks awesome!

I agree, but either way is really cute.

I am also using that film strip on my Hollywood Studios page. Its really cute.

Both options look great although I think I like the vertical photo better because the layout placement is very different than what I normally do and I like to have variety. I like the blank journal box better than a lined one.

Here's my first swap page!

The colors in the photo are a bit muted - the real page is more vibrant. Now on to my "K" pages!
