Disney ABC and General Disney Pages- Completed!

Just an FYI - I plan to work on these (and lots of other swaps!), while Morgan is at camp during the next three weeks. I work MWF, so I will have TT off to myself for 3 weeks! Wooooo-hoooo! So, my prototypes should be completed and posted by next Friday (the 17th).

Okay- I have updated the original with AR and ZerotoHero doing the last spot.

I recieved the pages from ZerotoHero today and they are more fabulous in person- this will be an awesome album!!

I'm now taking over "C" for AR, ZTH we'll keep to the original agreement that you had with AR, K?

Okay, sounds good. :thumbsup2

And I should be able to have a prototype done by the 20th. I'm going to work on the title tonight, because I had a great idea and I want to see if it works.

Need some help on packaging these babies!!! I have 2 groups all ready to be place in a box to mail off, but boy am I having some trouble trying toget these pages into the Large Flat Rate box. I dont want my corners to get wrinkled and no matter what I try one corner is going to get squished. This is only putting my little Group 5a in the box. What am I doing wrong to get these to fit? Wrong box? This is the box that is more square like than long? Make sense?

Rather than having them perfectly flat I find they need to be a little angled as the inside of the boxes are just about 12 by 12. If you put a little something under one side of the bottom (I find just an inch or so) it make a difference. You can see if that helps.

I am not using a priority mailing box. I have a box from something I ordered and I plan to ship it regular mail since I am done so early. However, if I don't actually get myself to the post office I will need it to go priority:rotfl2:

Another option -- I fit letters N,W and I was in 3 other groups - -2 one page and 1 - 2page grp. It all fit in a non-flat rate priority box. Those boxes are little wider, but a little less deep. Since you are relatively close to Rebecca, I would think that it would be less than flat rate.

Thanks for some ideas. I will give them a try and go with what works best.

I agree with the non-flat rate box. I was able to ship my two letters and my Epcot pages in a 12.5 X 15 X 3 (or something like that) non-flat rate box, with DC, and it was still 10 cents cheaper than flat rate! And I'm mailing from Boston... I don't know if that will make a difference for you? The boxes are still free from the online postal store.

I am in NC so I am closer to FL, so sounds like I should go in this direction as you and 123SA suggested or try Rebecca's idea with lifting the page a little under one side. I was going to try to get this swap and my autograph swap mailed together, but with my hostess gift I want to send I dont think that will work, but Rebecca probably be able to mail back all in one box since it will be minus the gift. I will have to experiment and see. I wont be finished for another week or so, I am hitting the road to home (TN). I am taking my last group with me to put together and then when I get back they will be ready to mail off after we wrestle to get into the box....lol:lmao:

Here's my prototype for F. Nothing is stuck down, except for the title on the mat. Sorry for the craptacular photo, the black is bling and it's glaring. Oh, and there are horrible shadows too, sigh.

Is it okay? What does it need? I'll probably do some stickles on the fireworks cut out. Are the stars okay on the photo mats? Should I do Mickey heads? Something else?

The "journal box" isn't quite 3x3 for writing area, is that okay? Do you like the white block or should I do it in red, to match the mats? Do you like the red or black mat around the box?

If it's crap, don't feel bad about telling me that!
