Disney ABC and General Disney Pages- Completed!

Here's my first swap page!

The colors in the photo are a bit muted - the real page is more vibrant. Now on to my "K" pages!

I love it. Beautiful

Thanks Susiestone and morgansmom2000! I appreciate your kind words!!!

I have to work on my photography skills - they're lame! The photo's colors are off, and since the focus isn't great either, the page's 3D elements (the MM heads, the flower, the "Glossy Accent"-ing on the title, etc.) don't look right. Oh, well - I'll try to become a better shutterbug!

Also, what do swappers do when they add extras with the pages? Just stick them in 13 little baggies? Paper clip 'em? Or...? I've got an extra circle/sun cutout, a large MM head, and a pop-dot for each page that people can use on the ribbon sun, if they don't want to leave that plain as a journaling space or photo mat. It could easily evolve into a Disney element... whatever each person wants... I just don't know how to best package the little bits up so that they stay with each page. I'm sure someone will let me know - thanks bunches!

If you put each set into a sandwich size ziplock bag and put those into the large bag with your layouts or a seperate one I will add the baggies into each person's pile of stuff. I would say bags rather than paperclips would work better though.

Perfect - thanks!

Rezzum frezzum...Went to Jo's yesterday. They had 12 sheets of fireworks paper! I'm checking another one today or tomorrow, love that $.16 a sheet!

Question on the bagging part.... I got my letter "p" ready to bag. Do I need to put each one in there own bag, so I would have 13 bags or should I put all "p' in one bag, since in the ABC part we all get one of each unlike the other groups I would need to page each one in there own bag. I could not find the exact instructions on bagging. Probably sounds like a stupid questions, especially since I do swap frequently.... :rotfl:

I'm speaking for myself here, but I hope that we just need one big bag. Those 2 gallon bags are hard to find and expensive!

For each group of pages please put all of the pages in one bag. I will use that bag to return all of your pages to you. In the alphabet section it will be easier for me if you use 2 bags (one for each letter) for all of your pages. Also not having as many bags will make it easier to fit them into return boxes.

Checking in, I have most of my paper and embelishments but have yet to start...

I am so sorry that I didn't check in. I still have not started on the pages. I actually just got back from vacation early this morning. I do have ideas written down, but now I need to start figuring out how to complete these ideas.

I can certainly understand that- that is why we have a variety if dates and then pm if needed. I have been away most of the month myself. I hope your trip was amazing- ours earlier this month was definately the best one we have ever had.

Here is my "V" .... Does the "V" stand out enough? If not what can I do to beef it up? It is matted once. Maybe I should get rid of the pattern paper on the "V" and go with a solid. Maybe that will get it to flow better. The top matte is 2.5 x 3.5, so you can put that size or cut a pic to 2.25 x 3.25 or smaller, so the picture will be double matted. I inked the edges. The bottom stickers will be different for some of the pages, but from the same sticker sheet. The title " acation memories" the top rectangle I have 7 green (like pictured) and I cut 6 with the blue color that is patterened. Any suggestions are sooooo very welcomed. It just is not hitting me what is missing. I have everything cut and ready to paste, but I want to wait if anyone has any ideas for improvement. Thanks!

Okay took a quick picture of the page with the "V" without the pattern paper. It is only the bottom layer of the "V", but I will cut a top layer in the top color of the rest of the title. Is it better without the pattern paper in the "V"?

I like both ways. :goodvibes

I think if you like the patterned paper, maybe if you add another mat to the V, it will stand out more? Not sure, but it's worth a try?

(By the way, the page looks great!)

You added the second photo after my comment, I like it with the patterned paper, myself, but how about another mat like Z2H said?

I like it with the patterned paper- although it took a minute for me to find the V. I think though that if someone is looking through the book by V they will be looking for different things.

Do you think I should move it in closer to the title?

I am going to triple mat it like z2h and morgansmom2000 suggested, but I am going to make the 3rd layer little more wider than normal I think and see how that looks.
