I have everything cut for this one. THe title cut for World Showcase, but I am not sure I like my idea. All of the other pages are complete and bagged.

Susan, that's great! I love the paper, I've never seen that pattern before.

And I went to a 6 hour crop last night with NEE and Michellepooh (and my mom), and thus, have finished my ABC swap. I didn't realize just how long 6 hours is. Looking at this compared to my other page, I realize they have the exact same layout, so sorry about that.. good thing O and G are fairly far apart.

ETA: I just realized you can see my Animal Kingdom tiger in the background,

THe pattern is a really old line by a company that no longer exists.

O page looks great. I would never have noticed that it was the same layout if you hadn't pointed it out:rotfl2:

Progress: I have only the title left to adhere to the N pages. I was hoping to finish tonight, but my little guy is sick and woke up and needed attention. Still, good progress.

W -- I have my prototype designed, title cut, some stuff cut.

Just wanted to say I love all the layouts so far. I am soooooo glad I joined in on this swap. I have only designed my layouts and gotten most of the supplies, probably will need to get some odds and ends. I have not started on these yet. I have been working on some pages for a family that lost their 3 yr old son to heart failure from my home town Knoxville, TN and the store there sent out an email about helping out with some pages for an album for the family. I will have to have those done and mailed by Tuesday . Then I am going to go back and wrap up my autograph swap groups and then start on these, so it will be a few weeks before I make any more progress on this swap I believe.

The pages done so far are really cute. I have to finish my other swaps and then on to this.

Nemomom- Thats my local scrapbook store that sent out the email about the layouts. They are wonderful people. I am hoping to make a layout or 2 too.

ZTH - Are you sure you are a beginner? Your stuff is great

Thank you Susie! That's really nice of you. I've been scrapbooking about a year, but looking back on some of my older (as in last summer) pages, I am amazed just how much I improved. No more using construction paper for my backgrounds! :scared:

I think it has to do with tools too - once you have a whole bunch of stuff to play with, pages get a lot easier to do.

WOW.... now that is a small world. I so miss it there. I will be back in July. The store made me an album about 6 yrs ago when we thought my ds was not going to make it. I took that album to the hospice center here while he was in there and used it at his memorial service here in NC and in July in TN. They lost there ds five days before my ds passed. Such a small world.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be gone from Monday 6/1 until Saturday 6/6 at Disney, Sunday we have a full day at church (my husband is a pastor). I will check up on anything on Monday- I leave again from Wednesday through Saturday the 13th. If you have questions about an element/requirements any of our regular hostesses should be able to answer it for you. Have a great week.

Rebecca

I have all my paper.

For my R - reservations - I have my 3 pockets sewn down. One can hold the room info printout. One can have photos and one can have a couple of tags for journaling. That's the plan. I have made a 6 inch R with that have the lettes reservations glued to it. Once I get the tags made, I will post a pic.

I plan to have everything cut and kitted up for other group to go with this group to take on our trip to work on in the room.

That will leave my park pages for when I get back.

W - World Showcase -- this prototype is not adhered together. I need to add a black shadow to the tag. Also, if I can't get the title to stick to the glitter paper, I may have to switch to silver metallic paper.

Hey Susan I just love that World Showcase page with the disney characters in front of the buildings. Adorable. What did you use to adhere it to the glitter paper? Not sure if it is the same kind that I have had for several years, but if so it is hard to get things to stick. I think I had some luck with glue dots, but I put about 6-8 on a photo mat to stick.

That's so cool! I didn't even notice the characters until NemoMom pointed them out. Did you put those in?

Why do I have the feeling that I'm going to plan out where I take my trip photos around what the pages look like?

It isn't adhered yet...I suspect that I will have to change it to the silver metallic paper. If I have to use glue dots, it will take way too many hours to assemble these. I'll try one and see how it goes.

I found those photos from this site. I forget the thread and the person's name. I'll try to find it.

Beautiful.

Do you have an ATG gun? That may work.
