Disney 3x4 and 4X6 journaling cards *accepting requests*

PIXIE... Do you know what I thought when I saw this card????? (Of course you do .. you probably have already created an alternate card.. ) ... If these said "My wish trip (Vs. Florida Journaling)...the amazing adventures..(etc) and then the box for the family to fit in their name.. " we could use them as "Book Plates" in the inside front of the album cover... not that I already have several requests in .. so I'll just put this one on my list of things to ask in the future!

It won;t take long to change one line, I should have it up here later today for you (gotta clean up the kitchen after dinner now!) You happy with all the rest of the text as is? Including the date box? They's be fab as book plates!

(And 90% of the albums we do have to do with FL trips - because most of the families who learn about us learn through GKTW)...Although the actual Wish foundations are starting to hear about us..Thanks so much!

Just doing some housekeeping here for the thread and my brain

1. The index is now up-to-date, it had fallen a few days behind, whoops. It is on post 3 on page 1 of the completed cards thread and is by far the easiest way to search our-now-massive selection of cards http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3072096 Go us!!

2. I had a few bits and bobs I was working on for myself, but I had mentioned here so just wanted to update.... just putting these on the back burner for a while to simmer away.... they were Food & Wine eating & drinking around the world and also regular style "Eating around the world" cards to go with the ones made before. I will get back to them but if anyone needs them more urgently please feel free to put in a request and I'll get back onto them

3. Also the Keep Calms - there are a few of Craftyladylyn's suggestions still to do, I have just popped them off my to-do list for a while, I tend to do a bunch of Keep Calms every so often and then abandon them for a while again Craftyladylyn, if you were waiting for any specific ones in particular let me know and I'll do them sooner for you!

Think that's it house-keeping wise, I should go to bed now Keep those requests rolling in!!

Just to note... we ask people to keep to a maximum of 4 cards per request and I don't do personalised cards - no names or dates, but I will put the ship name on the cards as these can be reused by other DISers If you need personalised cards you can always ask here in your reply and see if any of the other DISigners are free to do them

I'd like to request a Castaway Cay parasailing card. There's no rush on it as we're not going until March. My Girl Scout troop is going and several are going to parasail for the first time so I'll be taking lots of pics and a filler card for this would be fantastic! Thanks!

Do I sound like a broken record? LOL! I LUV THEM! You know something Pixie? ... If I had ANY idea how these cards should look .. I wouldn't come up with anything close to what you have given us (and this is for all the cards that have been created from our list!) They are over and above anything I could imagine! I have been using some of the cards (and so have some of the other volunteers) already - and I am now anticipating receiving packages that contain pictures that will be perfect for these recent cards (there have been times where I receive 6-8 pictures of the Wish kid riding the carousel .. not like these past two albums where the Kids were 17 and 10 ..and both boys - so I'm sure "Too OLD" for such a fun ride!) - I may have to ask for a girl under the age of 9 just to be sure I'll have a page to do!

Lol, no they actually are fun, I keep playing with them now And I've just found a staggering amount of silhouette (why do I find that word impossible to spell?!) cliparts hidden in photoshop too, splendid for stamping on cards!

You're very welcome by the way & thanks for all the lovely things you've said, I admit that those cards are pretty much designing themselves, I don't have a clue how they are going to look when I start off, especially the ones with no logo to start from, it's fascinating to watch them take shape, it's pixie magic

newlittleminnie, here are some similar cards for Florida Journaling.... three versions - one with no doodles, one with doodles & one with doodles & a scribbled "I love Florida"

You'll notice when you print that the green doodles are not as obvious as the yellow, this was done on purpose I wanted there to be some doodles that you only notice when you get close to the picture - like the eyes on the d & a!
