Iloveeliot... another one for you! I was searching for a logo for "Dining with an Imagineer" but couldn't find one. While I searched I found several "imagineer" books that had a cool logo - so I used it as inspiration for your requested journal card. What do you think? Could I request some journal cards with Star Wars characters. We will be going to Star Wars Weekends this June. Perhaps some with Belle and Beast or the New Fantasyland?

Starting Star Wars today. Should have at least one ready today or tomorrow. I'm thinking of making a few and I may do Star Tours at the same time.

Iloveeliot, me again... You asked for favourite kid's characters for cards, here's what I have come up with so far that DD likes... I'm sure other people can add to the list!

Jake & the neverland pirates... Jake, izzy, Peter Pan, the ship - Bucky, the pirate princess (that's her name), marina the mermaid, hook & smee

Mickey Mouse clubhouse.... All the usual gang are in it including daisy.

Handy manny... The guy himself plus all his tools are characters too (that sentence sounds so wrong!)

Tigger & pooh... Darby is the girl in this, DD loves her & her dog buster.

If you could make one with izzy, pirate princess & marina all on the same card then that would be the ultimate card ever for DD

I'm posting from my phone so I'm not sure if these will post as links or just addresses. I have always printed multiple images on a piece of card stock and cut them out, but it is time consuming. Below is a tutorial for printing on an actual 3x4 cards. There is a link in the first post for a second method as well that may work better for you depending on your printer set up. I also posted a link to amazon where they have pre-cut 3x4 cards. Unfortunately they are sold out right now but you may be able to find them elsewhere. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the links and ideas! I know that I haven't found a local store that sells the pocket protectors with 3x4 size in them and haven't ordered them yet. So I have been using We R Memory Keepers brand and they have pocket protectors that work perfect but they are 4x4 size. I did finally set up a file that I can place 4 on a print them out and they are lined up so just a few cuts. So that seems to be working for me know.

LOL, I have 2 kiddos... A 6 yr old DD and a 2 yr old DS poor DS had a stomach bug last week (caught it from his big sis, who caught it from school the previous week!) so he has been nursing like a newborn!!!! In order to keep me sane we nursed at the computer so i could design cards for our holidays & then iloveeliot started this thread at the perfect time!! He's much better now so I'll be slowing down on the card design as we actually get to leave the house and go out playing again, hurrah!!!

I don't do project life, too time consuming for me but I digiscrap & use the cards in my layouts tucked here and there smongst the photos. Keeping it all digi is the only way I'd get anything done although I think I will print some cards for disney to do some journaling while we're there!

Spent most of my evening on Star Was. Please let me know if you want other characters and I'll gladly make them also if you need any changes just tell me. I kind of chose characters randomly based on who I liked in the 80's as a kid since I had nothing else to go from.

Nope, I don't have kids yet. We want children very badly and are having difficulties. I also don't have a job right now but I am looking so I have too much free time on my hands. I did project life for a couple of months and really enjoyed it but I didn't keep up with it. I was looking back at my old pages and loving them so I am thinking of going back to it. I do want to simplify because it was taking me forever to do it and was starting to feel like a chore. It is also hard since we don't have kids and I'm not working, there really isn't much exciting stuff to document about my life. Are you doing Project Life? Have you got kids tiggergalttfn? I can't wait to see your other cards. The ones you have posted so far are beautiful. I don't have my name in my signature because I'm not good with that stuff. I could barely handle figuring out how to post my cards! lol and I'd love to update my ticker but every time I try it says I am using censored words. Anyway my name is Roni. I don't know if you have a Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or A.C. Moore near you but I believe they all carry the protectors that can fit 4x6 or 3x4. You could also get them on-line. Ok, I had to check with DH who that character was. I needed a second character so I randomly chose Yoda because I like him and thought the image was cool. If your Dd would prefer someone else just let me know. I have a second card in progress with Ashoka Tano full body and Ventress (I have no idea who Ventress is but a Wookipeedia article mentioned the 2 of them fighting and I found a full body picture so I chose her). Ventress looks much taller than Ashoka even if I try to make their heads and light sabers about the same size. Let meknow if the proportions look seriously off to you! The card is actually done but I thought I might clean it up a bit more. Other than the character pics the card is the same as the other one. Let me know if you want anything different. Actually I just decided to post it here now. If you want it cleaned up more let me know. I'm just really tired now and can't think straight. I am only posting it here for now until you tell me if it needs more work. Then I'll post it on the other thread when you are happy with it. I totally don't mind working on it more but I want to make sure I'm on the right track. I have the other Star Wars ones with Ashoka and Yoda posted above in a previous post and in the other thread. I just don't know how to double quote. I must get to bed!

I got an idea. How abotut one with a Disney name tag? I have heard that the Imagineers have a different one than other Cast Members.

I just came across this thread a few days ago. I began scrapping in 1998 and scrapped like crazy for many years. Then the kids got a little older and life got a little busier and everything got posted on facebook anyway....and before you knew it, I had completely stopped scrapbooking. I did do some online books, and was happy with how they turned out, but mainly I haven't done a thing for a long time. Then I saw this thread and I am so excited to try a project life approach to scrapbooking! It seems to be a great hybrid.

I love the journal cards you have all been making! They are so cute! What programs are you using? And how do you set them up to print?

I spent a full day creating these and I am thrilled with the way they turned out. I would be more than happy to personalize these with your children's names on them. I spent so much time on them I'm hoping that more than one person can use them. I made one with the boy characters and made another with the girl characters and I replaced Jake with a female character on the logo for the girls. They were created as 3x4 300 dpi and will probably not look too good any bigger.
