Hi there,

How do you all feel about a 4 day cruise and then stay at the resort for a few days? I love the parks and I am wondering if I would feel like I did not have enough time at the parks and regret the decision to take a cruise. I am trying to meet in the middle with my travel companion who happens to be my 12 year old daughter.

Which of you have done a cruise on the disney dream. Do you have any suggestions for a park person like myself? What is there to do on a Disney Cruise?

I cruised on the DisneyDream in October and spent a couple nights in Disney first. It was awesome! Loved the Dream and can't wait to go back! I think doing both gives you the best of both worlds! Disney cruise line is the best!

I'll second going on the cruise. The Dream is a beautiful ship. There are a lot of similarities between the parks and the ships. I think you'll really enjoy it.

Go on the cruise, then do the parks...!

The cruise is for you, the parks for your 12 year old daughter... don't know how to split it down the middle anymore than that!

The Disney Dream is amazing!! You can relax poolside, go to the various family oriented lounges. Your daughter can stay at the club for her age group while you enjoy more adult oriented activities (spas, adult area, remy, palo). Castaway cay is fabulous!

We usually do the cruise in the middle of our stay, this way we don't leave missing the world :)
