DIsnay Visa, AAA, and the ticket code

I finally settled everything. We had booked thru AAA and bought 10 day passes with PH and No X options (2 adults, 1 child). When the dust settled we had 10 day with PH, WP, and No X. The price of our package went up $7. So we paid that to add the water parks, by my math a savings of $115.
Our agent told me the only reason she was able to do this was that we had a Disney Visa. That trying to apply AAA discounts and the ticket package without the Disney Visa for other clients didn't work.
Did we get the full deal? It doesn't seem so. Still we upgraded the tickets for 10 days for a total of $7, so we did okay

I upgraded our package through AAA, too. We originally had an AAA discount on the room, but had to give that up by adding the water parks to our passes. Orginally we had 7 day passes w/ PH and dining, but no WP. After adding the free upgrade for the water parks, the price came out $10 less than the original when we booked because we gave up the room discount. We don't have a Disney Visa. The best way to find out would be to go to the Disney web site, click on the tickets/reservations and then on the "specials" link. Then, build the package exactly the way you did with AAA. Then compare your online price to the price you got from AAA. Mine came out exactly the same once I added the free water park upgrade.
