I'm back!!!! Thank you for saying that about my baby, Ellen! She looked soooo pretty at the wedding! Loved it!

OK, first of all, Hot Diggity on next year!!! I'll be packed in no time!!!

And there is no second of all...... just waiting on Cammie to respond to part 1 so Ellen can start part 2!!!! That way I can dispute everything she says about me......

.... except the part about me STILL being the youngest!!!!

Yes...meaning the older, wiser, more knowledgable, more worldly, seasoned, experienced and sophisticated ones are still being the rest of us. Good we all know who we are!

And yes...Cammie really DOES need to post something- I need to write about our trip!!

Oh- one other thing- guess who FINALLY joined the DIS???? Her screen name is GroovyLZ....I think it suits her perfectly!! Looks like we'll have a fourth contributor to our TR!!!

So here's the beginning of my adventure...............

I had an 11:35 am nonstop flight on Airtran out of Logan on Sat. morning. A good friend dropped me off at the airport shuttle bus stop by 8:30 and soon after we were on our way to the airport.

My kids on a stick sat quietly:

I was at the airport by 9:30 - plenty of time to kill. I took out a magazine, put on my Ipod and relaxed. I must say, I could get used to travelling without children - no worrying about bathroom runs, snacks, ect. JUST ME!

Our flight took off on time and better yet, was schedulled to land a half hour early - at 2pm! I texted Kara quickly and told her to get her fanny in the car, get to WDW, and start working that upgrade mojo!

I landed in Orlando by 2pm and headed over to ME. This is where I became slightly cranky. Kara texted me that she had no luck and we would, in fact, be staying at All-Star Music (upgrade queen, my a**! ) So I dragged myself over to the ASMusic ME line - which JUST so happened to be the LONGEST LINE out of all of them. And, wouldn't you know - as if just to tease me - was right next to my beloved BW bus line - which of course only had about 10 people on it.

One bus came and I didn't make it onto that one! UGH! Left to stand and wait for another twenty minutes for the next. At this point, I'm starving! Kara is texting me that she's starving. Double UGH!

Finally - a bus!!!!! Once again, my girls took their seat:

Kara texted me that she would meet me at the hotel check-in and drive me over to the room. SWEET!

I had never been to any of the All-Star resorts and quite honestly, was impressed. Crowded but still nice.

Dumped my bags, freshened up and we were back at the door; heading to DTD to meet up with Ellen and Lonnie. Some pix of the pool area on our walk over:

Oh - but wait! BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. Wild DISMoms' radar goes off. What do we have here?

Yeah, we weren't passing THIS up!

Our first official drinks to start off our trip. Mine is a Fusion Mojito on the right; I believe Kara's drink on the left is some Creamsicle concoction:

Whatever it was, she liked it!

Ok ladies. That's all the pix I have BEFORE we got to DTD. So on to the next installment! I'm off to the dentist to get two of my four gum quadrants scraped. (Sounds lovely, doesn't it? ) I promise to be quicker with getting my version up from here on in!

ASmu looks really fun! I'd stay there, no problem!! I remember when I got the cocktail pix on my phone from C & K that I was sitting at the SSR pool waiting for Loni to finish up with her massage after I had finished with mine...those drinks looked really good even on a cell phone screen! I was jealous!!

Ok- so we were at DTD, looking for the Margarita stand and Cammie & Kara- we got a table and Loni went to look at the menu, when there they were!!! It was sooo exciting!!! Lovely Cammie and crazy Kara all ready to drink!!! I have to say, this was the most awesome thing- that right from the very start, it was like we were just seeing people we had seen a million times before...it was so comfortable, so easy right away. We all just meshed. Even for Loni, and she didn't know them at all!! We just all started drinking Ritas and chattin' it up. I just KNEW this was going to be a fantastic vacation!! So...after a margarita or two, we made our way over to Customer Relations so Lonnie and I could purchase our very 1st AP's!!! To say I was excited is an understatement! Buying that pass, and knowing how much I'm going to be using it is the GREATEST feeling!! I also got the TIW card, and I KNOW I will be wearing that sucker out.

Our next stop was for...well, what do you think? Pop Rocks martinis at Fulton's! Cammie was very prepared- she even had her own stash of pop rocks just in case they were out at Fulton's! AND she had an entire BAG O' TINKS to hang off the glasses. Gotta love a girl who comes prepared with her own cocktail accoutremonts!

Shaken, not stirred...


Ok, you can't see them popping too much in this round, but when we had the NEXT round of martinis, it was like fireworks!!

That bartender was a blast- I know C & K have photos of his face- if you go in and see him, please tell him the moms with the stick kids all say hello!!

We were getting a little hungry, so Cammie asked for some of that yummy crab dip- I have to say, the crab dip is a waaaaayyy better bar snack than peanuts....Fultons ROCKS!!

Unfortunately, Lonnie and I had to get going- we had a dinner reservation for 8 pm at the new Kidani restaurant, Sanaa, and we were planning on making it an early night anyway because on Sunday morning we were going on the Sunrise safari. We had meant to leave after just the one martini...but those DISmoms are some very persuasive girls and we HAD to have that second martini....so when we said our good-byes for the night, we kind of rushed out the door to get to Sanaa even though we were already past our ADR.

Next time, ladies, there will be no sunrise safari. We will be staying with you AND the pop rocks martinis all night! Can you say...UH-OH.......

On to Sanaa!!! Will we make it before they close???????

Yup, it's exactly like Ellen said. Very comfortable, unlike my waistband after several drinks.....

As soon as we saw Ellen and Lonnie at the margarita stand, we knew we were off to a great weekend. Not much I can add to what Ellen said, but I did document her first AP purchase!

And what was that bartender's name at Fultons????

Ah, yes.... TONY! From Cleveland OH, another Buckeye!!!! I knew there was a reason I liked him.... well, aside from the fact that he provided our drinks....

Once Ellen and Lonnie left to head back to AKL, Cammie and I headed over to Raglan Road for our ADRs. Didn't we get there about 1/2 hour early Cammie?

So we headed straight to the bar and grabbed a quick drink.

Yes, we win mothers of the year award for posing our young children with our beers!!!!

Soon we were ready to be shown to our table. This was the highlight of my evening......

I should say HE was the highlight of my evening. I had a lovely view walking to the table......

Love love love Raglan Road!!!! This was my second time eating here and it did not disappoint.

I ordered the shepherd's pie this time...... There are just so many things on this menu that I could have ordered so I like to try something different each time. Now this was goo, but I honestly like the shepherds pie at R&C better......

And of course dessert..... Ger's bread and butter pudding.... TO DIE FOR!!!!

Now I don't know where our heads were, well, I know where mine was. It was watching sweetie seat people all night. But neither Cammie nor I pulled out our TIW cards for this meal! DUH!!!! We could have saved about $10 but never even thought about it. Didn't we do that a couple more times Cammie????

After dinner we hit the shops. And the tatoo parlor. Well, something like that.....
