DISmoms 4 - The Hunt for Jack Sparrow

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: DEAL! if things don't work out with Miss Ally, you're IN!
...- Tyler is pretty good lookin, ya might want HIM! :thumbsup2 Plus, Tyler is the one who will do anything I ask without hesitation- water the plants, take out the trash, put away his laundry....AND he's an A student...plus, he's an athelete and is built like an A&F model....:thumbsup2 Just sayin......

Takes out the trash and waters the plants. Yep, he'll do. And you are right, he is a cutie. ::yes::

To "us" Americans, arranged marriages sound strange but ever-so-often I will have a student who is in an arranged marriage and they always seem happy with their spouses. :confused3

Good to know- we'll pass it on to timmy and his betrothed- :rotfl2:

Carrots- you just think I'm always right because we always agree on everything! :love2:

Of course it's the future in laws cruise!!! We can start planning the wedding while we're on board! :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Well then you'd better train THAT kid to take out the trash cause Ally is a spoiled rotten only child and she needs someone to wait on her hand and foot!!! :lmao:

How did you like Sunshine Limo? We still need to book a service for our Fantasy cruise next month. Do they offer a free grocery stop to pick up supplies?

We all loved them- our driver was wonderful. Yes, they would have stopped, but we didn't need him to- we already had what we needed. :thumbsup2

Last time I used Sterling- I would NOT book them again. :sad2:

:rotfl2::rotfl2: Uh-oh....there's already trouble in paradise- :rotfl:

Miss Ellen, pimping out your son at his tender age? You do know that any monies that would come into that marriage wouldn't be much after all of Ally & Kara's shopping and Disney travel!!?:rotfl2:

ahh so thats what all the fuss was about Fantasyland and dumbo at WDW.. its now like DLAND's (see everyone wants to be like the west coast! the correct coast LOL)

all my years still have never had a dole whip. Looks good just not my thang.

I love the pics of the balcony with the empty wine bottles LMAO. And starting the morning with Sangria.. I LOVE IT!!!!

BTW im already putting in my RSVP for the batcheloret cruise with Ally lol. then the Wedding too! Just saying.

Thanks for the updates, ladies!

I just got caught up here after a really painful last week of school (blazing hot outside and we had project work all week - it sucked!!)

You have now convinced me to absolutely add Kouzzina to our must try restaurant for breakfast. :thumbsup2 It looks amazing.

And :woohoo: you are on your way to the DREAM. Can't wait to hear all about your adventures - this should be so much fun! :goodvibes

Do I smell matchmaking !!!!:rotfl2:

Absolutely! I told Timmy he can relax, no need to look for a bride when he gets older, it's all been taken care of! As long as he learns to take out the trash without complaining, lol.....

Looking forward to the cruise portion of your TR!

Me too! Sure took us forever to get here, didn't it?

Hey- the child in question of "tender age" towers over me at 5'8". Fine by me if KJ and Ally spend all his moolah on Disney- because I'll be right there with them! :thumbsup2

I like it because it's a little tart from the pineapple- very yummy!

Yes- pure class all the way... Don't worry, we cleaned up before we left!:littleangel:

You're IN! Should be a great shin-dig. Hmmm...I wonder where they'll get married?? :rotfl:

It's hot everywhere- we're going to 99 tomorrow- which really is above where we should be. Kara is sweating like a pig down there in SC, too- Joan is in the Grand Canyon- probably feels cooler there because of the dry heat! And Cammie is in WDW, she keeps saying how gorgeous the weather is- I wonder how that happened??

You have now convinced me to absolutely add Kouzzina to our must try restaurant for breakfast. :thumbsup2 It looks amazing.

I hope you two love it- :thumbsup2

Oh- it was fun alright!:dance3:

Kouzzinis is definately on my short list for breakfast!!Have eaten there for supper, but I am with"peas" I would try the Stacked brekkie !!! Ellen I once rode the Barnstormer back in 2007 with Kyle then 5 years old , thinking (always gets me in trouble) it's a Kid's ride HAAAAA I was petrified and have not nor will I ever ride that dangerous ride again!!!:rotfl2: Dumbo maybe haven't done it yet, lines always toooooooo long !!!

Oops forgot to say I haven't been on your TR's cuz I didn't know about them !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2: Just to mention I have a couple going on the ptr board for those who may be interested . The Rosie Link is go to the PTR board and find it !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

We said good-bye to the Boardwalk-

And picked up most of our baggage from bell services- we had made some purchases that we didn't want to drag on the ship, along with the 3 bottles of Guavaberry we had hauled down for Crazy Kara. So we left all that checked at the BW- stay tuned as to how THAT worked out at the end of our stay-

Our Sunshine Limo was picking us up at 11, and the car was ready and waiting-

366.jpg

We did not need to stop as originally booked, because lonnie had picked up a case of water for us and a few bottles of wine for the cabin, as well as Kara had some Captain Morgan's with her. As you can imagine, we were all quiet and well- behaved on the ride to the port. I'm sure the driver (sorry, I don't remember his name either Kara!) was bored beyond all reason...see for yourself-

He was a nice guy- from Mexico. :) Whose name escapes us all....

I just LOVE that feeling when you are pulling up to the ship, and see her, and you know your long-dreamed of cruise has FINALLY arrived!!

It did not take long to get to the terminal at ALL!

We were checking in immediately- SOOO exciting!! I love showing up at the port at this time- I guess it was a little after noon? The crowds have abated and you can be through so quickly. But before we boarded, we had to take a pic, of course, because look who was coming out to welcome us onboard!

378.jpg

Get a room!!

380.jpg

I don't have a copy of that pic- hopefully Kara does, because although Joan & Cammie both took a lot of pics, they haven't shared them with us...hint hint...

Time for the newbies to get onboard! 1st time through the ears!

381.jpg

Up next....the hunt for Jack Sparrow BEGINS!!!!

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
You are at the terminal .... and the Big Cheese comes out to welcome you! :thumbsup2

I just love those videos, Ellen! Had to look at the one where you are announced on the DREAM again too! ;)

Those two were sooooo gross! I mean, really, there are no little Mickeys or Minnies so I had NOOOO idea they did that????

As for "newbies" they had to do LOTS of things we suggested, huh? Note: foreshadowing!!!! :rotfl2:

I did like the barnstormer before so I can't wait to see it re themed. The stacked breakfast looked great but I loved the pancakes with the marscapone cheese and walnuts....oh so yummy..... i can't wait to be there in less than 30 days!!!! :dance3: the tough part will be staying off site

Oh Peas I forgot you took that video of our poor driver! He was a hoot!!!!

And of course you are right AGAIN with everything you said! Imagine THAT!

Whatever you do don't ever mention that one time... at band camp.... :rolleyes1

So once we got all our giggles out of the way - wait, I don't think we left the giggles for the next FOUR DAYS...... but once we got THOSE giggles out of the way, we were in the terminal in no time at all!

Check us in Mama Ellen!

And of COURSE I have our pic with the Big Cheese (minus the hussy rat he was with earlier....)

DSC_0072.jpg

It was finally THAT time!!!!

DSC_0073.jpg

Nothing better than that loooooong walk from the terminal to the ship.

But then we were torn with.... the Introduction. Anyone who has ready my TRs (shameless plug for McSparkleson TRs!!!!), knows that we have struggled the past two cruises with the "Introduction." Should we use our real name? McSparlesons? Right Said Fred? :confused3

So when we arrived at the ship, the nice CM asked us for our family name.

DSC_0074.jpg

We all looked at each other, let out some more giggles, and said DISMOMS!!!!! He checked out our shirts and then announced......

DSC_0075.jpg

"The Disney Dream welcomes, personal guests of Captain Jack Sparrow.... The DISMOMS!!!!"

To which the entire ship started rocking back and forth as everyone rushed from all corners of the Dream to see THE Dismoms....

It's true... but I don't wanna brag....

Once onboard we raced up to Palo to snag some ressies for brunch, but I'll save the Palo pics for the Palo day..... Because first things first.....

Our first DOTD!!!!!

Cheers to the DISmoms and our first DISmoms cruise!!!! Why oh why can't Lonnie get over her fear of innertubes in bathtubs?
