Yay! You all made it to the Ditch! (minus one dismom of course) I made my first stop at the Ditch on my trip in February. It is a must. I got the cucumber rita it is was good! I want to try the blood orange Rita next. I am more of a sweet girl when it comes to drinks, is that one sweeter? Did any of you Dismoms try that one?

and yes I think we ran over a little old lady on our way to the ditch. There were no photos of this but it was a sprint to the fun

I miss my DISmoms!!!! Love you guys! I'll try to add my take on events (like how you took the long way around WS to get to the Ditch. I think Laura and I hurdled toddlers and anyone bending over to tie their shoes, as we took a LEFT when we entered via the International Gateway and heading to Mexico.... Just sayin.....

Oh you girls are making me cry! I'm just picturing how excited I would feel to be greeting any/all of you! I don't have Jim convinced yet, but I have done a West Coast DISmeet now, and we've invited a DISfamily - Liesa, ALL7OfUs, to stay in our home for an air show here, so we are getting there!
It's just Kara's axe that bothers him Really, it's that he thinks Rita and I will get into trouble together

Great update! Just read on FB (probably from you) that the tostados are coming back. (Oh wait - I just saw that C posted that right about - doh) Good thing. I'm surprised you didn't start a revolt.

I did not know the avocado rita had the most alcohol. I will put that at the top of my list for next trip I had the jalapeno and it was seriously really, really good. Can't wait to go back and have another.

It is SOOOO refreshing!! And they can make it as spicy (or un-spicy) as you want. It's really the cucumer rita with a couple of slices of jalepeno thrown in- YUMMMMMM.....

I cannot wait for those slushies & a blood orange margarita!! The posse looks pretty darn good in the Ditch!

Too bad about the food being gone, although the ceviche looks pretty good.

SO glad the food is coming back- it really is ALL THAT! As Joan said, that blood orange one is very sweet- if that's what you like, you will love it!

We are so happy together- we were DELIRIOUSLY happy in the Ditch, so, SO happy that our time together in WDW, after much anticipation, was finally beginning!!!

I'm reading karaboo's trip report from her Eastern cruise. She's a hoot. I can see why you and she get along so well.

Kara is hilarious...but she is so much more. She has such a good heart...I just LOVE that Kara!!!

I have never been in that particular bar....how is this possible? I am now adding this stop to our Epcot visit in July. Which margarita did you like the best there?

Oh, yea- you definitely need to go to the Ditch- it is inside the pyramid, on the right as you come down the steps. My favorite is the Jalepeno- but I would like to try that blue one next time. Some of them are very sweet, and I tend to stay away from those, but people love them as well- it's all about what YOU like- I suggest standing at the bar & talking to the bartender- they are all VERY friendly and helpful. And they give samples sometimes, too, if you are standing there when they are making the Rita for someone else, especially if they think you will like it. Which is why it is BEST to stand at the bar in the Ditch!!

Ok- I read this first thing yesterday (all of your comments) and i was . Thanks for starting my day off with a BIG bunch of laughs!!! And yes, for us it's lanyards...for the boys, it's necklaces!!! If I ask them where their lanyards are, they are like, "Lanyards? What's a lanyard?" Which always brings me back to the "WHERE ARE YOUR NECKLACES???!!!!!!" See?

Also- I never got a glow in the dark stirrer thingee in my slushie- where'd you get that???

It is a must-do! Since my first visit, i have only missed it on one trip- the one I took right before this one with my boys. You will LOVE the Blood Orange if you are into sweet drinks-

Oh, I chewed that MGR's ear right off about it- as I'm sure a million others did. Not to mention the fact that if you are serving really strong drinks and tequila shots, shouldn't you serve some food that's at least a little more substantial than salsa???

But oh the tears when I met everyone. The moon must have been in some orbit because I cried more this time than i have in a ling time.

Joan and I jumped around forever. It was like
Seeing sisters you haven't seen in forever. It was magical how we all just clicked and got along. My crazy stayed tucked away for most of the trip. I swear Disney is the only place that I find sanity otherwise I am a big flake who can't tell time lol I can say I love each and everyone of those mom soooo much. I'm tearing up just writing this.

Just got done reading podsnel's (or as I just learned her real name is Ellen) TR with 2 of her boys over Spring Break and enjoyed it so much I thought I couldn't miss this one! Although, all this talk of this 'rita character is maing me unusually thirst!

This was the first year for me flying in for our annual trip, having moved back to SC this time last year. I am NOT a good flyer, so thanx to my new friend, "Mr Blue Pill" I was able to get on a plane and make it safely to Orlando.

I also found it odd she would take Viagra prior to flying - although I can there could be confusion since directions for both meds could read "Take 1 tablet by mouth 1 hour prior to expected activity" !

Our trip was great hot but great. We didn't get to spend to much time in the parks as we wanted to because of the heat. Avy can't handle heat so we spent a lot of time at GKTW but loved every second of it
