DISMeet December 13 or 14?

Hey, well it looks like no December 6 meet...at least, I won't be able to attend...grrrr...

however, my mom is "making up" for it by letting me go on December 13 in addition to December 14. Anyone going around that time? Let me know if you want to meet up (I know I'll see you at least on the 14 JessicaR...any chance you can cut your Disney trip short and go to Universal an extra day )

Hi Clare!

It isnt me that needs tempting to head over to Universal early! Unfortunately we wont be there before the 14th since the plans are now set. So I will be in search of your cushion, even though I know what you look like! What time is the first GB show on Sunday? We check out of AKL Sunday and have to check in and all before we head to the parks.

Because the Macy's parade will have started by then, I *think* the first show will be at 11:30AM or else 12:45...of course watch all the show times change on me

ohhh!!! Robin, when are you going? You still haven't given me any dates for when I can meet you!!!

I know I'm going on December 20, and January 1, but, my mom and I are expecting to go again between those two dates to meet you. Just give me a date and I'm sure I can go...let me know well enough in advance so my mom can take work off (if it's a day she works).

And you two...OMG....after seeing the Christmas GB Show...I think both of you could really get into it! My mom thinks so too

We will be there as well. I'm sure Dh and ds10 won't wanna see the show, so I will send them off to their roller coasters rounds, and met ya guys over there too. We are leaving Wed nite, to get there by Thursday. We are sooo excited! Starting packing last night! So let me know what time of show you are attending!

I will be at every show, no doubt...so whichever works for you. Do we want to shoot for the 12:45 or 2:00 showing? As I have mentioned, I highly doubt there will be a 5:00 show because of the Macy's parade. They MIGHT have an 11:30 AM showing in place of it. The other showtimes should remain the same, but, there are always surprises.

If showtimes change on us (God forbid....lol). We can just shoot to see the show closest to 12 or 1:00PM or something.

I am hoping to be in Universal either the 13th or 14th. The latest newsletter mentions holiday pet photos at IOA from 7:30am to 9:30am on those two days. Which means an actual opportunity to finally take my dog inside a Universal themepark. On top of that, it'd be great to meet up with you guys, especially you JesR!

I'll see what I can work out and let you guys know.

Yeah, I remember you talking about bringing your dog to Universal, that would be neat!! Too bad my pets are cats can't walk them on a leash or anything (believe me, when I was like 10 years old, I tried....hahaha...).

I wanna shoot aliens in the AM too! Not sure how long it will take us to get settled but we are heading over and checking in around 9A and will then head to MIB! Would love to see you and the family again, Jim!

I'm assuming, "shooting aliens" will be one of our top rides, to do over and over, since I can't stomach roller coasters.
So I'm sure we will be there Sunday. I wish there was a way we can recognize each other. Like we do with Disney, on these boards, with the green color. Guess I will look strange if I'm yelling : "ANY DISfans Here!?"
I have to tell you guys, I'm so glad I found ya, because you got me sooo excited. And I can't wait to get back, and really talk back and forth, and actually contribute conversation, instead of all questions to you all. Because I will then, know what you are talking about! LOL It's been 6 long years since last Universal trip.
If there is anything you want me to check out, for ya, with a report about, let me know. We are probably leaving around 6pm(eastern time).

There will be no mistaking me...I'm a short girl with a neon yellow seat cushion who waits up to an hour before each Ghostbuster Show. No one else carries a seat cushion and so, I'm sure everyone thinks I am VERY weird for carrying one along...especially since I rarely even use it at the GB Shows (a lot of times we just stand). but, it's my trademark, it's how I'm noticed! i've met a lot of people already, and the seat cushion helped at least a few of them!

SpideyHulk -- we are planning on going on December 20. I can't go on December 19...it's my last day of school before Winter Break...meaning...FINAL EXAMS...yuuuuuck!!! It's only a half day, but still...the day ends late enough to make driving up to Orlando that day not worth it (couldn't see any GB shows...)

Anyway, from my trip I have learned you can't trust anyone anymore. It's pretty sad. I heard the story of what exactly happened (based on what my cousin's father was told by the police). Turns out, the guy who killed my cousin was fired by my cousin because he didn't show up for work for like a week. The guy wanted his pay, but my cousin felt he didn't earn all that he demanded. The guy "let it go" and made a "truce." He iinvited my cousin to go hunting with him. That's where it all ended.

But, the good that has come out of it is, I can help my aunt help her children cope. They are all older than me...in their twenties, but, still. It was a nice trip. Nice to meet some of my cousins I never met before.
