DisMeet - Baltimore (DC/MD/VA/PA) - Part 2

Sorry...been very busy.

After reading the on-line planner for the aquarium...they strongly suggest avoiding Saturday's during June, July and August because of high volume of crowds. Base on this do you still want to visit there or do some other site seeing?

Wasn't there a science museum there too?

Up to you, but I am game.

I'm still up for the aquarium, think it won't be too bad if we get there early... Up for science center or anything else we decide do too, too.

Chocolate cake, cookies, coffee????
What am I packing, or in Timmy baking for you?

Never thought about the Maryland Science Center. I'll check it out and let you know. That could be an option.

If we do the aquarium then I would stay let's purchase tickets for the opening (9 AM). Does anyone have problems getting up early? If I order the tickets on-line then we won't have to wait in that long line to purchase. :thumbsup2 We can head straight into the aquarium.

Ooh chocolate cake :worship:
Not sure if Timmy's baking anything, think she was trying to profile us with that question :upsidedow
Reminds me I need to put a big note on the door about the snow in the freezer... Not sure what shape it'll be in when I get to Inner Harbor, might end up being in the form of a couple of slushy snowballs :rotfl:

Science Center sounds interesting too... I may need to drive up the night before after all! LOL

Keep me posted :) Miss you guys!

The Maryland Science Center tickets are $14.95. We can purchase tickets there. The center opens at 10 am.

Guests may exit and re-enter the building as often as they like once admission for the day has been purchased as long as a valid wristband for the day is being worn. This would come in handy if we don't get to see everything before we meet with the others at Phillips.

here's the link to the center http://www.mdsci.org/ They even have Sungazing on Saturdays which is included in the admissions ticket.

Let me know what you want to do. :thumbsup2

I vote for the Maryland Science Center.

Cool, I want to be a blue crab :)

I thought you all might like the Science Center

Ken and MarylandPirate, Mel and I want to see you two ride the mechanical crab :lmao:

You all have fun at Howl at the Moon.

Unfortunately this time I won't be able to spend the night in Baltimore. I have to be back home Saturday night because of another commitment on Sunday. Plus I'll be flying to Portland, Oregon on June 24 so I'll be doing last minute stuff getting ready for that.

----------------------------
We will need to make reservations for Phillips Seafood. I figured maybe around 2 pm. Does that sound good? Who wants to join us? I'll call on the 14th to make reservations.

Are you staying in Inner Harbor Sat night?

Got a room booked at the Courtyard for now (can cancel up to 6pm the day of! wow) but I figure gotta try the piano bar, and don't want to drive home after that I think...

Sounds good to me.
