Well, it turns out I can not be at the zoo on April 28. I volunteer with Dreams Take Flight and we are being presented with books on April 28 at Chapters in Scarborough. I have to go and represent the organization.

My Mom and I went to see Hudson on Easter Monday, he has grown a lot since our last visit. We also saw the penquin chick who was sleeping when we were there.

I am volunteering this year too but I will be greeting after the return flight from WDW and handing out the loot bags. Hoping to one day be promoted to Group Leader as my child was never allowed to do a dream flight or a wish because she has no formal communication. I would love to experience the joy and excitement on other children's faces. Plus I have 14 yrs of daily experience with physically and developmentally challenged children.
Only discovered this 2 years ago but both flights were when I was away. Worked out this year though!! YAY!!!
Maybe I'll wear my birthday ears and you can come say "hi" since my birthday is the following Wednesday!

tigger2on - one of the criteria for the children is that they have never been to a Disney park. It looks like your family has been blessed by several trips.

Thank you so much for volunteering. We are a very tired group at the end of the day and the cheering greeters make the arrival very special.

If you truly want to be a group leader you need to attend all the monthly meetings and do lots of volunteer work with Dreams.

Any thoughts on a date for this. Also what about maybe doing something for the Give Kids the World Power of 10 thing with it as well.

Things have been hectic as my parents have decided to sell their house.

I can probably be at the zoo any Saturday in July. Does anyone have a preference?
